It's offical. Keanu Reeves is going to be Spike Spiegel in the live action Cowboy Bebop movie. Cowboy Bebop's reputation is going to be ripped into tiny little pieces then set on fire.
This sucks you guys. D:

I thought everyone knew about this. *shrug* Old old news. Cowboy Bebop's reputation won't go down, since those who know of the franchise to begin, know better than to trust a live action adaptation. The reputation lives on in fans, not in the new comers with no claim to the original.

If a part is written well enough any idiot can play the role. I highly doubt the writers will be retarded, as the movie has so much potential it'd be a waste to get bad writers and miss out on a few extra million dollars.

I think they have 4 or 5 people that actually worked on the series to help out.

I am simultaneously very excited to hear that there's going to be a Cowboy Bebop movie... and very upset that Keanu Reeves will be taking part in it. That guy has about two facial expressions. ): VieCruel Chibi L I wouldn't mind watching Keanu die. lol agreed.Yeees.

SpikeReeves: "Duude... Viscious, i am totally going to kill you." "*Julia dies* ..........No wai........*tear*....."
Oh god, why did they even get permission to let hollywood touch such an artsy masterpiece? Honestly half the draw about it is the animation and colaberation of fine arts & philosophies that make CB, CB. I worry more about the crunch though... it's a series not a movie. How will they fit everything into a hour and a half film? They won't.
When I make my story, even if I get the offer I will never let it go up on the big screens. (Unless I get the LOTRs director and same movie budget. lol )

The movie is supposed to be centered around the drug " Red Eye " that appeared in the first episode.

At least they're using a drug from the actual series instead of trying to make s**t up. Hahahaaaaaaa
