Sakura's middle school. A beautiful campus with tons of shade where lazy students can relax under after a hard day, or maybe just eat lunch. The school offers many activites and clubs, and has a great athletics program.
Tomoko sat on a ledge outside the school smiling to herself. Her books sat on her lap as her hands were graciously laid on top. A few kids were running by, but Tomoko just sat.
"So simple....they have no worries it seems," she muttered to herself fixing her tie to be straight as she waited for anyone she could recognize, mainly Sakura and her friends.

Miyuki walked up to Tomoko.
"Hi, have we met?" she said.

"Hmmm...you're a third year aren't you?" Tomoko asked polietly, no expression at all, "I've seen you before I think. I'm Tomoko Mizihara."

"Hi, I'm Miyuki." miyuki responded. "do u know sakura?"
she tried hard not to show any interest.

"Yes, I do. Why do you ask?" Tomoko asked politely noticing that Miyuki wasn't too good at not showing intrest, "Except Sakura doesn't know me too well, it's complicated."

Keiko walks over to a bench away from everyone else. She pulled out a book and started to read. After a few minutes her mind drifted into dreamy thoughts as she sat there staring with glassey eyes at the book.

Tomoko sensed a source of magic nearby and noticed Keiko. She smiled to herself and walked over to Keiko.
"Hi there, mind if I join you?" Tomoko asked politely holding out her hand, "I'm Tomoko, nice to meet you."

Keiko looked up and saw Tomoko holding out her hand.
"Um...sure, I guess" She said, blushing slightly, she shook hands with her. Keiko marked her place and closed her book.

Tomoko sat down next to Keiko and asked polietly, "What book are you reading, Keiko? It looks intresting," She looked at her watch before putting it in her backpack. She felt the magic pulse coming from Keiko and she inhaled as she smiled.
"Such a pretty day isn't it?" Tomoko said. If I get the chance...her magic, I could take it, then she could see how she'd survive. So much magic, so much. She thought.

"Oh, this is A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'engle, it's one of my favorites..." Keiko quietly slid her book into her bag, folded her hands and silently watched everyone.

"What's it about?" Tomoko asked putting her hands delicatly into her lap. Now, when to test this girl? When the bell rang and kids were hurrying to their class? Tomoko wondered that as she looked off into space, a smile slowly curving.

"It's about a girl who looks for her dad by a tesseract, or traveling faster than the speed of light. It's very good." Keiko looked at Tomoko, she had a familiar feel....

The bell rang as Tomoko stood up and picked up her bag as well. She took her pocketwatch out and looked at the time. Well, it didn't tell the time, the hands spun around widly. Tomoko smiled and said, "Well, isn't there something you have to do before you run out of time, Keiko." She started walking toward the school, and drew out the time card and froze time, everything but her and Keiko.
"What will you possibly do?" Tomoko said turning around and smiling at Keiko.

Keiko stared.She now knew what was so familiar about her. She had magic.Keiko pulled off the ring that was on her finger and changed.
