There is nothing of any sort saying if you should knock or not, but chances are, it is safer to be polite. Who knows what sort of traps lie in wait? Vandette can be sadistic and mischievous. It is much better to be safe.
The room is very simple... in fact, rather austere. A bed sits in the corner with plain white sheets. Only text books sit on the book shelf. Aside from a single laptop and a lamp, her desk is completely bare. There are no pictures, no draperies or decorations... except the wall to the left, which is covered in display racks holding genuine weapons ranging from swords to halberds to chains.
Occasionally, there might be a stray bird or two taking a nap on her windowsill, perched on the edge of a bowl of birdseed. Other than that, this is the room in its neat, spotless entirety.
