I'm reading:
"Looking for Alaska"

I'm not sure I like it yet. =/
My friend recommended it, but I can't always trust her taste in books.

I'm reading books for my drama qualification... I thought I was done but then my teacher thrust even more on me. emo

Look, Listen and Trust: A Framework for Learning Through Drama
British Drama: A Historical Survey From the Beginnings to the Present Time (.... sweatdrop )
LAMDA reActing: A Fresh Approach to Key Practitioners
Pygmalion

and re-reading Jane Eyre

Yeah, I don't recommend the first three to anyone. XD They're boring academic stuffs.

I'm actually rereading Memoirs of a Geisha at the moment. But in the near future I will probably be reading "The Host," by Stephenie Meyer some book that goes along the lines of "A Sweet and Terrible Beauty," I forget what it is called exactly.

I'm reading Mere Christianity and Waiting for Godot right now. I've started several other books and have yet to finish them.
Once I finish Mere Christianity, I'm moving on to Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead.
Oh! Oh! And I just finished The Stranger by Albert Camus. My favorite book yet in the last 2 years of AP English [Crime and Punishment and Tess of the d'Urbervilles ran it a close second] I recommend it most highly to all y'all! It's incredible!
*excuse my enthusiasm about books*

Yeah, Jane's such a classic ^^ A lot more substance than Pride and Prejudice, but I think I prefer the latter just for the humour. blaugh Mrs Bennet is just hilarious!

OH MY GOD, I SO want to read Memoirs of a Geisha! Is it similar to the film or really different? The film was just a masterpiece =)

Crime and Punishment is kind of... D8; You need to have an awful lot of time and patience for that book.
If we can talk about our favourites, mine are always going to be Poison by Chris Wooding (always wanted to read the Haunting of Alaizabel Cray also by him but have never gotten round to it ;___ wink and Green Angel by Alice Hoffman. Can excellent reads from your childhood ever be replaced? ^^ I still reread them now and find I understand them much better now I'm older.

Green Angel is great book! I think I've read it once a year for five years now. XD

Lol, something in one of the last chapters made me laugh my arse off XD. It is kinda boring though. Although, I had to rush through it because we had to read books over the summer for class. Apparently they canceled it though D:

Now I'm reading "The Luminous Life of Lilly Aphrodite."
It's good. 3nodding Also, "The Miracle at Speedy Motors", which is one from a series I saw quoted in an old English exam.. so I decided to buy it when I saw it. It's also excellent~
Unfortunately I'm making slow progress with both, as I keep getting interrupted in order to do more important things =(((
