G u i l d - R u l e s - A n d - G u i d e l i n e s G . R . A . DINDENTThe G . R . A . D, Guild Rules And Guidelines, is made so that members of the guild can see and read what is important to follow in the guild. GRAD will tell members of this One Piece guild what to do and what not to do. Punishments will be made to those who disobey and go against these rules, not only to the members, but also towards the Crew, Vice Captains, and the Captain, him or herself.
INDENTFollowing Gaia TOS -- Gaia TOS should be followed, strictly, in this guild, but also out of this guild. Abusing Gaia Rules and TOS will get you to be permanently banned in the guild, but also getting a higher chance for you to be banned in Gaia. Gaia Rules should be followed in this guild, if the guild is shut down because of a member going against Gaia Rules and TOS, numerous members and captains of the guild, will strictly see to it that you are permanently banned from additional guilds and suspended from Gaia. INDENTGod Modding -- God Modding is a term for the act of constantly either not letting the actions of others effect your character, or making 'auto-hits' on another person's character. God Modding can also be dodging every single attack made, but it doesn't mean you have to be hit by every attack. Dodges should be detailed and done with reasonable actions. God Modders should be reported to Crew Members, Vice Captains, and or the Captain. God Modders will be banned after their second warning.INDENTCybering --This whole site is PG-13. Romance is allowed, such as kissing, hugging, cuddling, and etc. Though, anything further that includes nudity, sex, and whatnot, take it to the PMs please.INDENTNo Flaming --If you have beef with others, take it to the PMs. If you can't say anything nice just don't post at all. People are entitled to their own opinions and you don't have to agree with them. If a member is caught caught arguing to a point that it is uncontrollable and excessive cussing and rudeness, we will see to it that you leave the guild, immediately.INDENTDonation-Asking --Please don't come in this guild and post in the Chat Rooms, asking for donations everyday. There is a charity section on Gaia Forums, please do that there. We are a highly roleplay based guild, not a charity guild. If you are questing for something, just keep it apparent in your signature as you can use that as your own "Ad Space." Users will, of course, see your signature.

C h a r a c t e r - C r e a t i o n C . CINDENT The C . C, or Character Creation, is made so that members of the guild will see tips and hints on how to make your character's profile. C . C allows members to see what should be really shown in the member's profile.
Name: Basically, this is where you type your character's full name. We prefer that you put here the first and last name of your character. Be creative!
Nickname: A nickname for your character. For example, a nickname for the name Daniel could be Danny or Dan. Something simple!
Alias: An alias is a name, or title, that your character goes by. For example, The Shadow, Seraphim, and so on. Be original and creative, try not to use these examples.
Age: Your characters age is inserted here. Try to be realistic. A pirate or someone in the Navy can't be a hundred years old or older, unless some kind of mysterious power or ability is keeping them alive and whatnot.
Bounty: Not going to be used until later.
Species: Your character can be Human, elf, Dwarf, Gnome, Hobbit and so on.
Occupation: An occupation is optional
Allegiance: Insert whether you swear your allegiance to any group
Home Village: The home village you belong to.
History: This is where you must type out your character's history. Please be detailed about it as much as possible, though it doesn't have to be too detailed. A minimum of three paragraphs is required.
Personality: Your character's personality should be typed out here. Please be detailed about this as well.
Magic Abilities: Powers that use magic in combination with other things.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Sword Techniques or anything. A maximum of twenty five [ 25 ] is made.
Weapons/Items: your character's weapons and items that he or she carries.
Goals: A goal that your character wants to fulfill.

R o l e p l a y i n g INDENTThe roleplaying section of this starter thread shows members basics of roleplaying. Guide was made by iSensualizeThere are many ways to role play, but the most common way is as if your reading a novel book. Novel books are just like role playing, except.. You are the one who is reading it and typing it. And you do not have to make a bajillion page post. A common way to make your role playing character to talk is to use "Quotation Marks " Example: Quote: "Hey Jen, what are you doing tonight?" Now, off to doing actions, which you need in EVERY single role play post.
Examples of action posts:
Quote: Jen was walking down the stairs. Jen was walking down the stairs. Jen was walking down the stairs. Italics, Bolds, or normal would work out for action posts; just be sure to put "for speaking"
Now, if you want to talk OUT of role play.. You may use Parentheses or brackets. Quote: (Hey, how you been?)
Jen was walking down the stairs. OR Quote: [Hey how you been?]
Jen was walking down the stairs. Now, if you want to see all three altogether.. Quote: (OMG Really?)
Jen was walking down the stairs, as soon as she stepped on the last step of the stairs, she spoke. "Hey, is someone home?" That is an example of a simple roleplay. Though, usually without the OOCs. The Out of characters, AKA the one with Parentheses and Brackets.
This is Michael's little extension to the guide.
This is the advance style so only if you are determined to be an advance roleplayer, read this. If you want to be an average one then that's fine but do not read this for it could consume those of weak hearts. ^^;
Well let's get this shin dig on the road.
In this guide we will be discussing: Similes Metaphors Personifications Colons/SemiColons Vocabulary Post Formats Perfect way to fight/Putting it all together
Simile Let's start with a simile. A simile is comparing two different objects using 'like or as'.
Examples:Quote: The girl's eyes were as beautiful as the night sky. ((We are comparing the girls eyes to the night sky)) Jen was pretty like a solar eclipse. ((We are saying Jen is super pretty)) Johnny is as weak as pencil shavings. (We are saying Johnny is super lame and should work out more. I love you Johnny~<3)) Metaphor A metaphor is the exact same thing as a simile but they do not use the words 'like or as'.
Examples:Quote: It is raining cats and dogs. ((We are saying it's raining a lot)) Cynthee is the sun. ((Cynther is pretty but not as pretty as Jen. BUUUURN)) Time flies when having fun. ((People lose track of time when something worth while is happening)) Personification Next in line are personifications. Personifications is when you give an inanimate(non-living) object a characteristic of a living thing.
Examples:Quote: That car is sweating. ((We are saying it's really wet)) Her phone is shivering. ((The phone is probably on vibrate and someone is texting/calling the girl)) That's a cool game. ((Probably one of the hardest to comprehend due to the slang. Cool originally means cold so we are saying that game is 'cold'.)) Colons/Semicolons Colons and semicolons are probably the coolest thing to use when you use it because you feel so smart when it's used right. Although while they sound alike they have hardly anything to do with each other. A colon is usually before or an explanation. A semicolon is connecting two independent causes with no connecting words.
Examples:Quote: My favorite foods are: Deer, ostrich, rabbit, brains, and peanut butter. This is the list of things you need to buy: Milk, eggs, paper, celery, and a soul. I'm going to my house; I intend to stay there. Hey what's up; nothing much here. Vocabulary This is a self explanatory part. To be a literate roleplayer we must need a variety of words. So kids, grab your thesaurus and let's have fun! Vocabulary could keep your roleplay from getting boring and it's just fun showing off how much you know. There are many words in the world (obviously) but I will help you with the common ones usually used in roleplays. Instead of using words like: he, she, it, moved, said, front, behind, sides we are able make more detailed and direct replies so people do not get confused.
Examples:Quote: Jen threw the kunai at her target. --> The girl launched a metallic object from her wrist and towards the person's throat in a ninety degree angle from the ground. Since you are only able to control your own character, it is safe to say 'girl', 'boy' or other things in replace of constantly saying your RPC's name. We replaced 'threw' with 'launched', we described the object she launched, we put where the kunai was thrown at, and we also indicated that the target is in the air or high above the ground since a 90 degree angle is directly up if you are comparing it to the ground. "I will never be able to be able to beat Michael." Johnny said. --> "Michael is way stronger then me. It's impossible." The black hair groaned as he saw his rival pass the Ramen Shop. We replaced a bunch of words and added a handful. In the first one Johnny said "I will never be able to beat Michael." This only says that Michael is better then Johnny at something. It could be anything: checkers, good looks, how he's packing (xD). Although when Johnny said "Michael is way stronger then me. It's impossible." This limits to what Michael is good at like: being a better shinobi, being stronger endurance wise, being stronger muscle wise. We also replaced his name and put 'black hair'. This always reminds the reader that the RPC has black hair. We added 'groaned' instead of 'said'. Now we know how he spoke. Then at the end we put 'as he saw his rival pass the Ramen Shop'. This could mean that Johnny is inside the Ramen Shop or somewhere around it.

INDENTThe Bounty section tells members about the Bounty rules and information about it.
INDENTRules --Everybody starts off at 50 bells. You can increase that bounty by facing rival Pirates and Marines. Each fight that you involve yourself in ( Must be within the rules and a valid fight, will be reviewed by the staff and myself) can gain you 10,000 by winning against an opponent. However, if you lose ( but show great rp skills within the fight) chances are you can still gain anywhere from 1,000-5,000 bells added to your bounty amount. Any other questions, you may PM any of the moderators in this guild.
