Is James William Waterhouse. He's Amazing. And I Have A Print Of His 'The Lady Of Shalott' In My Room. It's Gorgeous. I Remember When I Was Little, My Art Teachers Would Always Have It Up, And I Thought It Was A Photograph.
It's Positively Amazing.

That picture is beautiful, my favorite of his paintings is La Belle Dame Sans Merci. Also love Cowper and Dicksee's versions of it, though, and the poem.

That One Is Pretty, But I Still Vastly Prefer The Lady Of Shalott Paintings. Because Apparently He Did Like Five. The Above One Is Just The Most Famous.

OH I JUST GOOGLED HIM AND HAD A MAJOR SPAZZ ATTACK.
The following two are in my copy of Classical Mythology, and just like, yesterday, I was thinking about illustrating something based off this one:
Echo and Narcissus
And my absolute favorite is this one: Forgot what this one is titled.
Then I'm like, 90% sure I saw this one at an antique shop way back in England when I was like, 9: Mermaid
And I totally studied this one in Art History while in Germany: Couldn't find the title to this one either.
I didn't even realize they were all by the same artist. Oo

Sarah, Those Are Awesome. I Like The Marie-Antoinette [I Assume] On The Swing, And I Especially Like The One Of The Women In The Water.
Like I Said, I've Got A Large Poster-Print Of The Lady Of Shalott, And The Day I Find A Cheap Picture Frame It's Going Up On My Wall. Right Now It's Tentatively Packaged In A Cardboard Back With Plastic Wrap.

Indeed, I love them and got so excited. XD I'm not sure who she is, but I remember it was some high class lady (obviously) and the painting was about her having an affair and being all carefree, oblivious to all the ominous stuff in her surroundings. And the women in the water were nymphs...hang on, I want to see if I can find that painting in my one book.
H'kay, they're Naiads/water nymphs. Copying short passage, because I think it explains the painting:
"...they were usually sweet, benign spirits...Yet the youth Hylas who went to draw water from a pool was lured by the nymphs into the water and never seen again."
...Oh. Lol, it's titled at the bottom, "Hylas and the Water Nymphs". XD
I want to go on allposters.com and see if they have copies of these. Oo

OMG Sarah, that one of the lady on the swing, when I lived in Kansas they had a huge wall that was covered in that picture at the mall, in one of the shop windows, and I adored it. I would stare at it every time we went past. I think there was also one of a prince with a horse. *taking a trip back to childhood*
