He was then sent to the Rosethorn Academy of the Gifted, a school for witches and other magic users, sometimes his emotions get the best of him, but for the most part he likes to be in control.

Description: Lydia was at magic when she was born, and her parents never told her. She grew up with her mom, brother, and grandmother passed away, (he parents where divorced) and she never knew she had powers untill she reached 14, when her dad told her to never touch water while thinking about mermaids.

Description/ Background: unaccepted anywhere he became a shadow that dwell in the school (the only place he felt belonged), because of his outward appearance he was always dragged to class. He has a dark side that only awakens when he is unconcious or becomes in danger that he cant handle

Description/ Background: When he was 10,Ryu stumbled upon a dead body,freaking out,he started to poke it.From there he absorbed her powers and figured it out the next day,when he was getting angry and suddenly a huge storm brewed out of nowhere.He was just now caught using his powers to stop an impeding tornado,and was immediately sent to the school.

Lance walked to the school that day. His old car was currently in the shop. Something about the breaks were failing. And there was black smog coming out of the tube in the back. He didn't really know much about cars. But he did know that the breaks were slightly off. He didn't want to take any chances. Even though the problem was only minor. As he stood on the sidewalk in front of the school. He noticed an open gate on the school. The gate was mechanically controlled. With a lookout station to the right and left. Just inside of the gate. The left station was currently abandoned. While the right station was currently occupied. By a middle aged man that seemed to be in fairly good shape. He waved as Lance walks through the open gate. With a greeting smile. He started to speak in a cheerful manner. Well welcome stranger, what brings you to this school today? He then slid a clip board over through a slot in the glass as he continued. If you are just visiting the school. You will have to sign in on this clip board. He started to write his information on the piece of paper. With the pencil that the man at that station had handed him. After passing the paper over to the man. He said, "oh...professor Lance". I was told that you were coming today. Listen, keep this under your hat. But people at this school. Are discouraged from using magic outside of this building. It goes beyond just mere discouragement. So you should learn to follow those rules as well. Lance looked at the man oddly. He knew he had a single magical trick. Though it was very unrefined and he would rather avoid using it in the first place. The reason was because it drained away all of his energy. On top of that. He couldn't teleport unless he got his heart rate up to a certain point. It was dangerous, so with a nod he added. Don't worry, as far as magic is concerned. I stand in quite fear of it. With that he walked past the guards station.

Suddenly, Lydia approched a door. 'Maybe this is 'the school' where is should be staying to pratice my magic skills.' Lydia thought to herself. Slowly, she started to open the door to the school. Then, the door opened by herself. "Don't you come in yet." a voice said. "Let me sit you to your roomate... or ssss..." Lydia had no idea what was in store for her...

Lance walked up to the door of the academy. The first thing he noticed was the door. It was a sort of golden color. He thought very little of it at first glance. But as he grabbed onto the golden colored handle of the door. It wasn't painted metal he felt in his hand. It was pure gold. There would have been some sort of alchemy involved in this. Alchemy to him was inbalance. It allowed people to break the laws of what were. He opened up the door walking inside. He took a few steps into the middle of the hallway. Then looked at the students suspiciously. He knew his eyes would deceive him. Every one of these students were a potential threat. He turned to his left walking quickly down the hallway. There had to be some sort of office he could visit. He wanted to actually meet the dean of this institution this time. He also needed to know which class he had been signed up to teach. It was all too suspicious. That someone with no particularly great skills would be asked to teach at a second institution.

Lydia came assined her room, and noticed that only abot 20 people incluing teachers where in the school. Lydia was confused. Why would nobody be here if it's a world famous magic class school? Lydia came back to her room, and check out the campus to see if she knew anyone, or if anyone exepted her as a mermaid. "O my gosh." she muttered, sadly. She had been there for 4 hours and not one of the would care what she was. She started to wonder if this school was not any good. Then she sat down at a table and thought, "Maybe I sohould get some lunch. It might help me settle my brainage."

Alex wasn't paying attention as he rounded the corner and walked straight into the dean's office. he hit his head on somebody and fell over, "Hey, didn't your mother ever tell you not to stand in front of a door?" he looked up at a face he had never seen before, he could tell he wasnt a student by his face, height, and build, but he had no idea who he was, 'probably new staff' he thought to himself, standing up.
