I'm starting the official Animal Crossing thread here for those of us who have anything relating to Animal Crossing to talk about.

I'm moving our current AC talk here and replying to it because I have something to vent about! wink

Definately an AC thread. But you do remember that you never have to miss a month or day on that game. Just change the date and time on the cube before putting in the game itself. Which reminds me I didn't play at all either. I have to get on and make some snowmen...
Instead we've been playing Mario Party 6.

Hmm.. maybe I should start the AC thread and ask this there, but it seems more logical to reply to what you actually said here!

I did rewind the clock and played the event days in December and January. But I couldn't figure out Jingle. I found him about 4 times, but each time he didn't give me anything, whether I changed shirts or not, so I gave up.

And I made one whole snowman, and it seemed like the right proportions according to an ACC thread I read there, but he didn't give me anything either. neutral

Ok, I finally built the perfect snowman! But, I had my inventory filled with fruit, so he didn't give me anything! I ate a piece of fruit and then talked to him a few more times, and nothing. Ah well, there goes that effort. sweatdrop

EDIT: Err.. ok, I just got new mail in my AC mailbox, and it was from the Snowman.

Snowman
Snow there! I do believe a gift is in order--I surely appreciate you building me! This little Snowman fridge will keep anything as cool as you. Take it, it's yours!

It's too cold! Snowman

Does he always deliver his furniture this way, or was this only because my inventory was full at the time?

That is because when you first built him you had no room for a gift. So therefore he sent it to you. As for Jingle, I'll check as soon as I get home in my book. It will tell me there what has to be done for him.

Ok, now I'm baffled! I built another perfect snowman today, and he gave me nothing. My inventory was empty, so I went to check for a letter. Nothing. I talked to him several more times. Nothing. I pushed the snowman until he broke and then went to check for a letter. Nothing. I saved and quit and came back. Nothing. neutral

Ok, here's what the book says about Jingles:
"To get the present, chat with Jingle five times as he roams town. You can also trick Jingle into giving you more stuff. Certainly that's more naughty than nice, but it works. After you receive a gift from Jingle, walk far away, change into a very different outfit, then talk to the reindeer again. You might fool him into thinking you're a different person completely."

Here is what is said about the snowmen:

"When snow is covering the ground, the Snowman may appear. You'll need to assemble him, however. Find the two snowballs then roll them together. Depending on how well you do the task, you may receive an item from the cool Snowman Series collection."

It's a Nintendo Gamecube game.

Speaking of Gamecube, any recommendations for other games? Other than AC I only have Starfox Adventures (which I'm stuck at and have given up on) and Tales of Symphonia (which turned out not to be my genre at all, so I never bothered to complete it...) Does anyone play Harvest Moon? It seems like something I'd might like *lol* wink

I myself am wanting to try Harvest Moon. I think it is supposed to be like AC but a little bit different in a couple ways. My son and I play the various Mario Party games. We got the new one for Christmas. My daughter enjoys her Sims games. She has them both for the gamecube. But other than that, there aren't too many more that I know of. She would have to answer that question.

Okay..That makes more sense. I saw this topic and I was like '"what in the world are they talking about?" I prefer playstation I think...mainly cause my fiance owns one so I got a game....it's really cool. All the sonic games from sega are in this one game. I enjoy it immensely!
