we change on the bus. which is an insane experience in itself.
tho i actually think we might be the only guard in our circuit that does that, but we also have a long way to go so we're not ready before.
yeah try changing on a bus. thats always fun. XD

I have a really weird experience from Sunday!

So, it was after we had preformed and my friend and I were waiting in line for food. Then this lady (full grown lady, probably married with kids) comes up behind us and is like "I love your show! I have dreams about it! About the killer whales and things!"

My friend and I looked at each other, like "What?" It was so funny.

We don't have to worry about the whole sharing a bus.
Our guard fits the whole bus, we we have a lot of room.
:] and we change on the bus, boyfriends ride on the bus too, but they get kicked to the front. :D

We change on busses all the time- Usually charter busses (as we're a Jersey band running the Cavalcade Circuit). For the sake of time, we go Females, then Males, regardless of whether you're in band, pit, drumline, or guard.

...And usually the guys just come on anyway, much to the dismay of the band moms.

....But it's not like we care. They just make a huge deal out of it.

When we have to change at the school before parades and such, usually Arthur (our drum major), and a few male tubas all change in the girl's room. It's funny.

yeah changing on the bus is kinda awkward, since my band has gotten smaller and everyone is on one bus now. But we have now perfected how to take off tights and spankies with pants on... the pit and guard always battle each other for who gets the back seat, so we all refuse to move..
