To qualify these new 'gods' as such would be a folly. though it is true they bear divine blood, there are some key differences between them and an elder god.
Some of the differences are very small, while others are massive. Through the years I have gathered information into this tome with the help of the Elder god Himself. In his name is this work completed.

What is an Elder god?
An elder god is/was one of the first beings to come into existence from the nothing. Born into a Gaseous form, they created the stars and planets in their youth. They discovered light, heat, and rebirth of stars. An elder god is an All-powerful being that has the ability to manipulate core functions of the stuff of life. It may alter anything it sees fit to be more pleasing to its eye, and may decide to take this away when the vision grows stale. Facetious and Capricious
they are by very nature, though capable of much. They are still very young, and have much to learn; though it grows exponentially on a daily basis.

What is a 'New Divine'?
To put the matter to rest, a 'New Divine' Is not a god. Rather, it is a mortal who has been breathed on by an/ the elder god(s) and has gained the ability to make many things mutable. There is a vast difference between them and the Elder gods, though, and that is their power.
The strength of a New Divine is within one, or maybe two things. Unlike the elder gods, they are shackled to their element or preference, unable to even try and make something that is not of their direct influence. Elder gods, though many like to specialize, have the power to change anything they want. Although it is true that New Divines are very clever and make it seem like they can mute other objects, in truth they cannot. The lord of fire cannot command the waters willingly- Though he may use force of flame to move it as he desires. Likewise, the Mistress of water cannot conjure flames spontaneously.

Another key difference is the shifting of form. However much the New Divines may try, they are bound, Irrevocably, to Anthelos. They were given abilities that were Anthelosian in nature- they may only command Anthelosian water, Anthelosian fire, and Anthelosian wind, etc. Whereas an Elder god may change all he sees to fit his view no matter where or what it is, a New Divine may only create and use what is Inherently Anthelosian. They do not even have the power to affect what is from other worlds. In effect, though they retain their powers and lord it over all who reside on this world, their powers are useless against beings from other worlds, if it should happen. One thing that remains to be seen is the the New Divines are able to affect them whatsoever- Since they are comprised of Anthelosian energy, would even blows slung by a mortal hand pass right through an otherworldly foe? Would they only be as strong as mortals against them?
The mind boggles.
