Ridus Village is a place where bounty hunters gather to look for pirates with large bounties. It is a dangerous area for pirates, a place where a fight can be at any corner. Marines are not as present here as they are in other villages. All the local stores are bars.

Rake looked around quite a while. Around these parts he had to take it safe, even if he hadn't any bounty on him yet. It was still very dangerous and deadly for anyone. In a bar he noticed two people. He had an picture of one of them and approached them. "You're Johnny right?" The man answered yes on the question and gave Rake a question back. Rake could easily answer the question. "I wish you to teach how to wield a blade, so that I can protect my future crew with this very blade I have!"

The man called agreed after receiving a beer to assist Rake in his training. Johnny apparently knew of a back alley where they could start. Rake was lucky that this man was indeed very friendly but why wouldn't he be there wasn't any bad blood here. He took out his big b*****d sword and held the same stance as Johnny. The man's eyes got big and pale as he looked at it. Almost as if he was looking at a monster it self. The comment as if he was compensating for anything. Rake just laughed at the comment.

Johnny corrected Rake on his stance and gave him tips on how to use a sword. Since a b*****d sword was much as any other sword, just so much bigger. Now it was time to move around and it was difficult at first but for every time he failed to guard himself, from the fake attacks of Johnny, Rake increased his skill. The moment was becmeing more like a dance. It was an incredible feeling to move around like this. The world was opening to him and he would breath everty thing in. What would this new world bring to him how would it greet him? He didn't knwo but felt glad that it would at least let him in.

Rake and Johnny begun to dance. It started to work after all and it all became so much easier to wield his sword. He understood the philosophy of the blades and was able to read the attacks. Soon it was all good and they increased the speed. His very b*****d sword was a bit slower but kept much strength. Yet what he was told was the fact that if only Rake go stronger and better that would no longer be a problem. Knowing that with much training it would come naturally as well. Nothing would be in his way for this. Nothign would never stop him for reaching his goals. Well he migth needed to find a captain first but all things in one time.

Now Johnny begun to speak about the ways one could use the swords. He talked about Roronoa Zoro who used 3 blades at the same time. The ways of the blade stopped at the way of the mind. What one believed, one could do. Not even the sky was the limit here. It was told to Rake that a great swordsman ship could cut the sky and create hurricanes. That was the path that Rake had chosen and the path that as indeed a very promising one.
Great adventure awaited him from this point and as for all swordsmen the dream started from the first step. When ever such a step was taken one could only feed from the experiences of the world. All would be his one day and he knew it. The dream of cutting everything had begun.

Johnny showed slowly at first how one could use the sword to unleash a devastating blow even if one was with little numbers. Since Rake had such a good reach, his arms and then an 8 feet long blade. Such a weapon should be used to maximize it's abilities. This attack that Johnny where to show him was to use the new found knowledge and the strength of the user. Every technique that Rake would ever use would come from the skilsl he just learned. All that he would evelope on his own could be tied down into this place and this time. Now it was time for Rake to watch Johnny.

Johnny placed up a lot of creates in a half circle. Then he told Rake to watch closely and so Rake did. Johnny grabbed his sword and spun around with his blade. With that cutting all of the top creates and sending them to the floor. A very devastating attack indeed it was. Against a group of marines such an attack would be able to clear a deck with the sharpest b*****d sword. Moving around over wide areas such sweeping attacks was indeed very deadly and gave out massive destruction. Low life would be swept away like overboard sailors against sharks. His blade would cut across minions like a hot knife trhough butter. With such attacks like this then Rake coudl become a human army.

Now it was Rake turn to try it, the not so very complexed ability. All he had to do was turn around and move his blade at the same time. He helped Johnny put up new crates onto it's position. With that Rake took his place and did his first swing. It didn't go well. He spun to fast and short so only the center crates where cut but the crates that was hit, was destroyed. Rake was a bit surprised that he had done so poorly and also how hard it was to get an accurate swing with the big weapon.

Rake and Johnny put new crates onto the places that was empty. Rake was still curious about what he had done wrong. Rake asked Johnny why it was so hard to get the blade to move accurate. It wasn't somehting hat would be hard to move through the wind. Johnny then spoke about the angle of the blade and arms. How so many things counted into even the easiest of attacks. It was time for a second try and Rake lined up for his second attempt. Now with this new learned lesson everythign hopefully came form his final attack. Well next try at this technique, because maybe he would never get it.

Rake placed himself and held his sword by his side. His eyes where fixed and he soul was ready. Now was the time to really do something. He needed this to be done and he needed to learn how to wield a single blade so he could learn how to wield is very own blade. For each blade had various styles yet this style was the basics mostly. Rake took the swing and this times it hit all crates and all creates was turned into planks and trash.

Johnny told Rake that in a close area a sword has many disadvantages. This is why a thrust attack is so good to master. It is a very powerful and deadly attack and requires only that your opponent is in front of you. Nothing else and one would keep the defence up while using such an attack. Much like a hammer only that each strike will be able to cut a lot out of a body. A fluent motion of death was needed. Nothing that would be able to break by a wall or pole. A swift attack with such force it would be hard to avoid.

One have to be fast and one have to be accurate. It wasn't good by just tossing your blade into an alley. If the enemy got hold of the blade the fight could be lost. One have to be able to move swiftly and deadly. Just as all swordsmen had to be. It was the true path to victory, to be faster then the opponent. With a surprising quick thrust then an opponent would be taken down. With the force that Rake was packing then an attack as such would be lethal at the very least.

Johnny continued to speak about how the attack was best used. How one should stand and how one should move. It all came into being like a clock. Everything at it's time and the entire body working together. That way the thrust would come as a deadly to surprise even if the room for the sword is very little indeed. One sharp attack with the kinetic force of his blade could take down a bear. Within time nothing would be able to stop his blade. Johnny may have said it to make Rake feel better or maybe Johnny just told his hope for his student.

Then Johnny grabbed his sword again. He told Rake to look carefully how he moved. Over and over again Johnny showed him how to thrust the sword into the body of another. How one moved back into position without problem. It looked very easy indeed and that was good. For at this point there was no room for complex combination and such. If a blade was stuck in the wall then the swordsman was like a fish on land. Unable to fight with pride and honour. The prime of a swordsman was just as the blade hit it's target. The dance was it's flow but that dance could be straight forward and not only circles.
