A famous quote in this world of ours really. It means that despite everything you can't allow yourself to be bound by what others think. It says "I'm strange, I'm powerful, I'm wonderful, I'm me, and if you don't like it too bad." Many people find themseles following his quote to their grave. There are the people who shape our world to their desires. Those with the resolve to follow this quote are quite easily empowered by it. This quote however was not made by a person.
This was said by an object of incredible power called the "Crystal Of Fate". It is a material so powerful it's pure spiritual energy gives it conciousness. Not many know this though and even fewer view it as anything less than a fairytale. This object no longer exsists however it is far from imaginary. The crystal was smashed by a dark ruler long ago. The pure force of energy released spread the shards across the world and promptly destroied everything around the blast site. This site is a now long forgotten crator in the tundra that is the western continent. No one can explain why but when the crystal was destroied it dispersed so much raw energy it change the weather patterns of the entire region causing the tundra conditions in what was once the warmest area on the planet. These days scientists have been trying to figure out just what happend and only the historians know but of course the scientists are stubborn and won't believe it.
This is a world of magic and wonder like no one knows but there is a treasure that few even dare to dream about. "Shards Of Chaos" Are a not so commonly found however commonly known material. They are called This because when someone draws on their power the destructive force they wield is nothing short of godly however as powerful as these small shards are their energy is limited. These shards are of course you guessed it pieces of the Crystal of Fate. Many of the shards have lsot their power and een discarded causeing the already scattered pieces to be even more randomly placed across the world.
These shards are finally starting to become myths as well as their numbers become less and less common. There is something that no human knows of at all though. Recently there has been a child born with the ability to sense these shards. The child doesn't know it yet but his power is about to hit him like a ton of bricks. Is this a sign that the crystal's power will be needed soon or is it simply a case of luck for the child? Well whatever is happening the cogs of fate are starting to turn and no one knows what the machine is going to pump out this time.
Well this is where you come in my friend.... you're to play a part in the play that is the story of this world..... please remember even small parts make up the greater entity that is any great play.
The question now is.... what's your part?... Unlike a normal play you just have to walk on stage not knowing your role.... Will you be the villan? the best friend? The lackey? well your part as a title is yours to decide really however just how big a part you play is still up to fate..... you're more a puppet than an actor really..... I shall enjoy watching this show... please do entertain me.
