Hiya everyone! Sorry, but I gotta come out and say it, our first guild contest is completely blank to me. So I'm open to suggestions as to what we may do. Any ideas? I was thinking like whoever posts the most or something...but that may turn out to be a spamming thing... :/

You could do a lottery.. or a contest. It could be an avi or maybe even an rp contest. *shrugs* I'm not really sure. Maybe a writing contest...
I suggest getting a bunch of ideas and making a poll for everyone to choose which contest to do. ^^
It's just a suggestion though...

Maybe a RP contest? I dunno; most unique storyline...best character....the tektek idea sounds good too! Meh, whatever you want, i guess.

In one of my old guilds, we had a STAR TEST.
It was basically like a RP battle, where you would take one of your characters (fantasy of course) and battle a monster of the Crew Members choice.
Umm..The "star" went to the duo or person who preformed the best. It wasn't like if you actually BEAT the monster, but like grammar and displaying your character's personality. You were graded on all that stuff and some more, I can't remember off the top of my head and I don't feel like clicking all the way to the link of the guild.

it depends on how many people are actually into rp battling, but it could be a tournament type thing. one on one or teams or something. Then you can have brackets and have judged matches.
The effectiveness all depends on how fair the players and judges are about the fight. Because otherwise it could just go on forever with "I swing my sword at you." "I dodge and swing my sword at you." "I dodge and swing at you." ad infinitum.

Well, actually...it would be a collaboration of the two working together to kill a common foe. So, there wouldn't be any fighting between the two, unless it was planned by the two puppeteers of the characters.
Also, it would be in a set number of posts. Like, say I was teamed with Minty. Our characters have to fight against a huge worm-like thing and we only have 3 posts a piece. So, we would alternate between each post allowing us equal chances to fight or defend.
Make sense?
