[мy • ιnnєrмosт • dємon]    Before human race ruled the world, there were demons, angels, vampires, werewolves, anthro-animals, fairies and other creatures. Those creatures once ruled the world, maybe even better than humans. And, when humans over populated them, they've decided to hide in human skin. Then, they fell in love with humans, married them, birthed a children with them, had a family with them, and so on. Years later, when some humans found out about the hidden story of their wives and husbands, that they were not human at all, they slaughtered majority of them, not knowing that their children inherited their race as well. Oh, how humans were foolish back in the day.
Their children, growing up with only one parent, or maybe with a step-parent, always sneaked out of their homes. Majority of them knowing their true selves, that they were not fully human. Though, all of them would not tell their parents about this. Instead, they kept it a secret, and soon, learned to either ignore it or use their hidden power. Sever years, decades, centuries, millenniums later, precisely, the year 1995, and in Tokyo, Japan, the people who everyone thought was normal was actually a half-human, half-creature. Some of them were famous and rich, some of them lived in a normal atmosphere and some of them were poor and lived in the streets.
Then, in the months of may, there was a demon outbreak. People revealed themselves as demons and attacked the humans, claiming that they're "just getting back at them." Now, only few were left in the good side of the creatures, and the humans continue to hide. Oh, whatever shall one do? Should the good creatures fight for the sake of humans, or let them be? Should the humans just hide from them, befriend one of the good ones or attack? And, what if romance filled the air for both humans and creatures once again, like from how it once was back in the day?

 Rules; Follow the rules of the guild, Gaia's TOS and the rules listed bellow.
Roles; it's something important that you must take up. As everyone can see, or maybe not, I've listed 16 character roles on the post below. How can someone take up a role? Well, it's quite simple; send me your profile via private messaging. Yes, that's right, private messaging, or else known as PM. PM me your profile and I'll get you on the spot and put your profile in the Character thread that I'm about to make. Oh, what else? Ah! Please follow the characteristic of the character that you are going to play; both the ones listed next to them and the ones you've applied. Well, at the beginning, at least. Because, we all know that your character may change over time.
Writing; Ah, this one is a subject that is hard for me to describe. Eh, well...All that I will tell you is that; graphics to design your posts are lovely for the eyes, just not too bright; my eyes will fail me if this was up. Hm, long posts are quite interesting, but if it's a novel you're writing; honey, take it easy, you have other posts to do. Minimum lines in a post is 3-4 lines. If you have writers block, I'll forgive you, because I'm a forgiving and loving person~ 4laugh
Romance, Violence...Vulgarity?: This is one heck of a subject, my friends. Romance; something that I highly encourage! For those hopeless romantics, naturally lovable people and even those who are solitary. Violence; is accepted. Although, if you're to kill someone, ask for their permission and alert me of this. Though, if you're to kill, don't make it TOO gory, and those who are the victims of murder, make a last post that is dramatic and that shows your pain. Maybe, a flashback? Well, whatever you choose. Fight scenes; not to much blood, not too much violence, but must be okay enough. Vulgarity: One may say a few swear words here and there, but do not get over the top with it!
PG-16; Yes, this is the rating of the Role play. I would not tell you to go to PMs for overly rated things, for, it is not allowed in Gaia. But, if you must, just leave it to your imagination. Please. There might be some child stalking the thread eek

[т н є • r o ℓ є s] [т н є • g o o d] Koji Hagino: Koji is a famous Japanese musician, his specialty is Rock music. He is very talented, adorable, comprehensible, intelligent, young and artistic. His flaws are; he is clumsy, he makes the weirdest sentences that anyone could ever hear, he repeats what he says without even knowing it, he is mischievous and he is sometimes shy. He loves his music, he loves his pet cats; an all-white Maine Coon cat, a female, named Lilith (Ririth, how he pronounces it) and a Dragon Li cat, a male, named Ezekiel (Eiji-kieru, how he pronounces it. He was born in Niigata, but when he was 10, he moved to Tokyo, with his family, and with only little money, but over the years, and with the ambition of being a famous musician, he became the most famous Japanese Rocker there is. He had a sad childhood. He is secretly an Elemental who could control both fire and lightning.

Emiko Honda: Emiko is a rich girl and is Koji's cousin, from his mother's side. Emiko is a young, beautiful and artistic girl. She is the only daughter of Mimio Asakura and Eiji Honda. Mr. and Mrs. Honda are both successful in their companies. Emiko is a sad child for she is the only child in their family, she had not a friend, but her cousin, she was not allowed to have pets and she was not allowed to go out, without guards. The only person she was allowed to play with was her cousin Koji, and those who were invited to their house. Now, she is forced to take up the family business, and she doesn't want to! She want's to be a painter. She loves to wear traditional clothing. She is secretly an Elemental who could control Ice and Water.

His dad works as a teacher in his school and his mother is a normal housewife. Shin'ichi has a sister named Hanabi Kurosaki who is not like him at all. He is secretly a shape shifter.

Haruhi Morikawa: Haruhi is an orphan. "Morikawa" was a surname given to her by the people in the orphanage. She is a silent girl, pretty, talented and is a fighter. Once she got out of the orphanage, she started working in a flower shop that payed her well and she is now living by herself in an apartment. She is secretly a fairy.

Yoshiyuki Ogata: Yoshiyuki always thought he was a normal human, and therefore, tried being sociable. But, since everyone knew what he was, he was usually called a beast and was always screamed at to get away from them. His father, a politician, made him change schools and is now in the same school as Hanabi. Since he still remembered the torture of being screamed at, hit by other people by various things and was called foul things, he began to be solitary. He is a werewolf.

Sakura Hagino: Sakura is Koji's big sister. Sakura did not love her family, only her little brother. She hated her mother, her father and their older brother and was always attached to Koji. Sakura first discovered her race when she was 8, her power to control shadows and make something evil come out of it. Sakura is beautiful and is silent. She is solitary and would only allow a few people to talk to her. She is an Elemental of Darkness.

Masaki Haruna: Masaki is a lonely salesman with a sad past. He was thrown out by his parents when they found out he was a demonic child. That was, when he was ten, and when he was thrown out, they threw him a heavy bag, full of his things and they threw him rocks. He then fainted at that, and when he awoke, he found himself in a dumpster, next to his bag. He was taken in by a lonely woman and was raised as her own child, loving and caring for him. When she learned his secret, she did not do anything harsh, she continued to care for him, still. Masaki is an intelligent young man who wants to kill his parents and forget about them and just remain the "son of the widow, Mrs. Matsuda" He is a demon.

His childhood wasn't a good one; his mother left him and his family for another man and have another family, since then, his father started hurting him, his sister would blame him for it, even though he did nothing, and slapped him, punch him, kick him and would leave him outside to sleep. And now that he is rich, his mother, father and sister acted nice to him. It was his time, his time to take revenge. And why just his family? He then planned to take it to the whole human race. He is a vampire who could cast black magic spells.

 It was one of the spring, Sayako could remember, the time that she discovered what she really was...who she really was. Sayako could remember, that she was looking at the blooming cherry blossoms in their yard. She was happy just watching, staring at them. "Sayako? Sayako? Are you out in the yard or are you in your room?" Her mother Shiori asked aloud. "Oh...I'm over here at the yard, mom." She replied. She then heard faint footsteps, then it grew louder, but not rapid. Her mother wasn't stomping rapidly, she just walked silently, only soft thuds could be heard of her walking. Then, Sayako heard her mother's slippers sliding on cement. Her mom was approaching. Hearing the crunching of the grass made her think that her mother is just next to her, which, she was. "Sayako? Are you watching the Cherry blossoms again?" Her mother asked, sitting next to her. "Yes mother...They're just so beautiful...Especially when they bloom." She said, looking up at the branches. She then looked at her mother. "I wish I could bloom, too." Sayako said to her mom. Shiori smiled and caressed her daughter's raven hair that was as soft as silk. Shiori looked into Sayako's eyes and said seriously. Shiori sighed. "Don't worry, Saya. Someday...you will bloom. You will bloom and be even more beautiful than those cherry blossoms. You will be unique and as beautiful...You're only 5, a bud, now, but in a few years time, you'll be a beautiful flower." She said and kissed Sayako's forehead. Sayako didn't understand until she turned 8...It was yet another spring and Sayako was watching the flowers bloom. Her mother and father were out at work and she was only left with her big brother. Her big brother, Sao, was asleep, so Sayako didn't play. Saya tried to reach one of the cherry blossoms to touch it, but she was too short. She sat up on the long legged stone bench, and reached the thick branch. Saya decided to climb the tree, then. So, with both her hands, she cloned onto it and walked carefully on the tree's trunk. Then, she heard snapping come from the tree. She was more than six feet above ground and if she falls, her head will hit the stone bench and she would bleed. Knowing this, Sayako kept on clinging, but every time her clings got tighter, the wood snapped bigger...and bigger...till it finally came off. Saya let go of the branch and let herself fall. She didn't care anymore. She can die right here. But, when her head was about to hit the table, she felt like she was lifted up by something..."Ahh! I can fly!" She exclaimed, seeing a black wing on her left side and a white wing on her right.
Sayako woke up from her dream and looked at her hands. It was a scary, yet happy memory of hers. So that's what mom has been telling me...Sayako kept on thinking when she remembered that day. Sayako got up, and cleaned herself and put on a kimono that was fully black and had white designs on it, almost like stars. She put up her raven hair in a bun and stuck a small branch of cherry blossoms on the bun. She puffed her hair and looked at it from side to side and smiled. "Well I look good today." She said, chuckling. She walked out of her house, from the front door and sat on a bench just in front of her house. She looked at everyone outside and smiled at those who passed by. What to do today? She wondered.[s α y α k o • s α k u r α ι]

"Where are you boy!?"
Koji cringed, rubbing his temple to dispel the spike of pain that came up with his mother's voice. Oh Hotoke-sama! Why was that woman so loud. Taking a deep breath, he got up and brushed non-existant dirt off of his school uniform. "Coming Mother." To amuse himself, he hummed SR-71's She Was Dead (oh, how he loved knowing English, even if his pronunciation sucked) as he picked up his bags. Absentmindily, he petted both the stripped cat and the white kitten that laid on his cover. "You two stay out of trouble so Mother has nothing to yell at me about later, okay?"
He merely got a cute 'nyao' in response, but it caused him to smile none-the-less. You can't be me I'm a rock star

Sakura sat at the kitchen table, slowly eating her breakfest. The kitchen was mostly silent, except for the small clatter her mother made while making breakfest for the rest of the family. Today her mother appeared in a rather good mood, at least better than the one she was usually in. Sakura was curious, glancing at her mother from time to time. Dressed in her school uniform, she'd braided most of her hair back into one braid, though a few strands had escaped to frame her pale, cherubic face. With her dark eyes lowered, she set her fork on her plate, rising from her seat. Her mother looked up as Sakura gracefully made her way towards the sink with her plate and glass.
Carefully, she cleaned the dishes and placed them into the rack to dry. As she wiped her hands, her mother said," You should wear your hair down. It looks so much nicer." Following her mother's suggestion, she undid the braid and tried to fan out her hair, which was slightly wavy from the braid. She gave a small smile to her mother who nodded in approval.
Sakura grabbed her bag, checking to make sure she had everything. Then she glanced at the clock. Walking towards the stairs leading to the bedrooms, she called out in her gentle voice," Koji! Do you want me to wait for you?" There was still ten minutes before they had to go.

"Good morning okaa-san." He dutifully kissed his mother's cheek (more like pressed his lips against it) as he walked into the kitchen, noticing the woman's good mood. Odd, the Hagino family matriarch was normally far more composed. The old woman merely nodded in response, watching with dark eyes as he grabbed a banana and a bagel, popping it open to scoop some scrambled eggs into it as a sandwhich.
"I expect you to be home on time today."
Koji sighed - between his "job" and cram school, he didn't have time for clubs or friends. Which was kind of sad, all things considered. "Of course, okaa-san." Absentmindily, he adjusted the insulated gloves he wore on his hands, making sure none of his skin was exposed; it wouldn't do to accidently discharge electricity. "I'll get a ride from nee-chan if she isn't busy after school today, else, I'll take the bus and then walk, okay?"
He didn't wait for her curt nod, merely turning around and exiting the kitchen with his bagel. It had cooled a bit during their talk, he noticed with half-a-mind, and it wouldn't be as yummy. Didn't matter though - his appetitie was shot, after that. He sighed before looking at his sister. "I'm ready," Koji said between bites of food." You can't be me I'm a rock star

Sakura gently laughed at the sight of her brother eatting and talking inbetween. "Careful, you might choke one of these day Koji." Openning the front door, she motioned for Koji to go first. She glanced in the direction of the kitchen and said," Bye okaa-san! I'll call if I'm late. Have a good day." She and Koji exitted the house, heading towards the garage. Sakura, being 18, had her own car, but also a bike which she used on rare occasions. Since the school wasn't too far, she sometimes walked or biked to school. Unlocking the black car that her parents had bought her a year ago, she openned the front door and slipped inside. After she buckled up, she took a steady breath and prayed for no accidents of any kind. Sakura got nervous sometimes about car accidents. Still, she remained calm and serene. She started the car and twisted around so she could slowly back out of the driveway. "Do you have any plans for tonight Koji? I can tell okaa-san that we'll be late for dinner."

Her question as they got out of the driveway wasn't all that unexpected. "Not really... I was thinking about hanging around the local music store, listen to some of their live bands today, but it's fine." It would have to be fine, seeing as Koji didn't want to get himself or Sakura in trouble. [/ Sorry!
