Im a writer, too. I write poems and stories.
Heres an excerpt of a story Im working on now, I got the idea from the forums. Here I go...

In the distance, a figure appears. Slowly the shape comes into view, revealing what seems to be a young cat-demon. He stares off, as if looking for something.
"...I swear I just felt a presence here...maybe there is a place I can rest around here..."
He set off, his tan fur glowing in the sunlight. His eyes seemed troubled, as if deep in thought.
"...I'm never gonna find a nice lady to be my mate and share in my love...How long have I been searching...?"
He stops and rests on a log, tears streaming down his face.
"How dare I cry...I'm supposed to be strong..."
*purr*....Whats a big strong man like you dong out in this cold dangerous forest?*purr* My name’s Emily. *purr*"
He nearly falls over, startled by her sudden appearance.
"Huh...WHOA! Oh my lord, you scared the daylights out of me!" *sniff*"
He inspects her, as if wary of an attack.
"Uhhm...Hi there...I-I've been t-traveling the world, looking for the woman who shall steal my heart. Uhg, I know how dumb that sounds...I just was looking around here 'cause I though I felt someone here...I-if this is your territory, I'll leave if you want..."
A tear streams from his cheek, splashing on the leaves below.
"*gasp*"
He covers his face, embarassed of his tears.
