Reason for nickname: Well, Rigel is the only heir that stands upon a hill while people blow up. The light soldiers have quite the imagination and liked to call him these terrible names…even if they’re kind of funny.

Description/Picture: Rigel is gorgeous. There is no getting around this fact. People actually stop and stare, he was after all made this way. He has high cheek bones and a very distinct jaw line. His skin is pale, though not too pale. He has black hair that he puts product in to look somewhat messily spiked.(Think Gerard Way when he has black short hair.) His eyebrows are tilted inward slightly and are groomed but are not girly. Rigel’s eyes curve inward slightly at the tear duct. (Think catlike) They are shaped so they have a somewhat squinty look. His eyelashes are very full and quite long. The iris is a silvery grey that is black rimmed. The pupil contrasts greatly with the iris. Rigel’s lips are defined and are full but not girly. He is muscular, as in model muscular. His teeth are white and when he smiled he looks younger. (It’s like a cute smile ^^)

Type of childhood: Rigel was born to be an heir, as well as Alessia’s husband. He was genetically and magical altered to be amazingly good looking as well as powerful. There were many tests done with offspring like he, but Rigel is the one success. His parents created him to win. Something happened between his parents and Brian that ended up with him being an orphan. The execution was thought to have killed Rigel as well, but apparently it did not. Aside from this, Rigel had no idea why everything had happened. He grew up alone by himself, and eventually found comfort in an old woman. She died and Rigel carried on. He lived by himself using his magic for survival. This left him untrained and due to this he has unusual magical tendencies.

Sense of humor: She’s morbid in that way. Not obnoxiously so, but in the company of light magical people she would make heads turn at certain comments. Otherwise, she isn’t stupidly serious, but Alessia won’t let everything be turned into a joke and becomes annoyed when it is.

Enraged when: People lie to her. If it’s small, it leads her to trust you much less, and if it’s important or big she becomes entirely beside herself, sometimes to the point of forgetting control of her magic…
Depressed or sad when: Alessia doesn’t tend to get depressed or sad/ she tends to become angry. So this doesn’t apply too much…
Character’s soft spot: Cute things. Small animals, shy children, and helpless people. The major problem with this is that these are not the kind of people she’s around—ever. So a reaction to one such person is stronger than it should be.

Greatest strength: She’s not an idiot. She is afraid of things when called for but she can get over them and find a way to get out of situations mentally. Instead of being some hero complete with cape and arrogance, she’s tactful and a ‘coward’ if it suits the situation.

Mother: Her mother was killed when Alessia was four. It was no tragic accident as is common, but an act of jealousy by one of Brian’s closest followers. The mother of Rigel, who was at one time Brian’s lover, murdered Clara, thinking it would not be found out and that Brian would simply return to her as things were before that woman became closer to Brian than she. Alessia doesn’t know much of her mother, because she doesn’t remember much so far back.
Relationship with her: Very good at the time of her mother’s living, but now Alessia doesn’t remember her much.
Father: Brian raised Alessia with more attention than most any father in the world would have given. Despite business and his exterior being, Brian did not treat Alessia simply as an heiress, but of course as what she was—his daughter. Not to mention that she was the only connection he still had to his Clara, and Alessia’s actions much resembled hers.
Relationship with him: Perfectly fine, trusting, in all good.
Siblings: Half-brother Arion. Brian is his father, Clara is not his mother.

Magical Habits: Playing with items in the room. Changing their colors and shapes, making them float around, and anything else she thinks up. This is done more when she is bored or nervous rather than all the time, though.
Setbacks: Because she is middle magical, her magic isn’t dominant on any certain ability, but rather she’s completely well rounded with a little bit less strength in each ability. Of course, her power level does tend to make up for this in every category except healing, with which she will never be as good at as the lighties.

Description/Picture: Brian could be considered a catch. He’s actually pretty attractive. He has a masculine look with a strong jaw and a broad forehead. His eyebrows are masculine but not entirely thick at nature. The eyebrows are a shade darker than his light brown hair which is always styled neatly. The length of his hair is short without it being very short. He has light skin and is relatively fit. The end of Brian’s eyelid folds over slightly, it is an attractive look. The iris is a medium blue and he has short brown eyelashes. Brian has the remnants of hair on his chin and cheeks. It is not stubble, but it is the mark of a shaver. Type of childhood: He raised himself. Literally. He was one of the rare cases that poofed too far from the womb. Brian lived in an orphanage for a very short time before being literally removed from it because A: He was dark magical (Very obviously at times…) and B: His magic was too strong for them to fully control. Brian was trained there magically until 5 at which time he was sent to a boarding elementary school for troubled children. (You didn’t know those existed, now did you?) At 17, Brian met Clara, the first and last Light Magical person to join his group. Friendship between the two increased gradually until they were closer than he and Rigel’s mother (Who had dated for two years in high school before opposing opinions on Clara). Sharing the same interest in biological science and joining of the magical races, the two married at 26.
