Being a huge fan of realism, many parts of this bother me, especially the use of textures and patterns. It may be more of a preference, but the pattern in so many areas seems to carry over different objects, depths, and gives the piece a flatter feeling, though it is very unique. I do wish the white eye wasn't so distorted, though, it looks strange compared to the other lineart on this piece. I do like the dark feel but it's a bit overwhelming in certain areas. Great use of colors on the face and chair, though. I wish you hadn't cut the background with black (to create walls and a ceiling) - the harsh lines look abrupt and unintentional. Perhaps if you feathered them out a bit it'd look more connected, like the lineart for the boy, chair, ect. Everything flows so smoothly, I like how you cropped the picture a lot. I definitely wouldn't call it junk!

I like it a lot, I think the perspective is really good, but the white eye is what bothers me the most. It just seems a little sloppy and stands out too much from the rest of the image(and not in a good way)
