Me and my friend want to game to come to America. I'm trying to help him by starting a petition on a website that I made. He's really obsessed with the game even more than me.

I wouldn't mind seeing the PSP version getting localized, but at this point it doesn't seem likely without a ton of fan demand. Actually, even with that, Namco USA is pretty belligerent.

I wish. It's my favorite Tales of game so far...
I'd take anything I could get for it to be in America, even if I have to hear "Claire" from a Veigue voiced by Yuri Lowenthal or JYB or whoever else they reuse all the friggin' time...I just want it in English.
I broke down, bought the PSP version and imported. Thank the heavens people in this fandom have been awesome and made translation faqs, scripts, videos - all of it. Not just for Rebirth, but there's two videos with Eternia skits on youtube translated, there's Destiny DC stuff translated, story synopsis/guides for Destiny 2...
This fandom forced me to become an importer, because they just won't touch the 2D Tales of games for an English localization. And I quickly found out I like them more than the 3D ones.

I wouldn't mind if they brought it to the U.S but give us the option to put the voices in japanese at least for the love of all that is good. I admit, some of the American dubs for the Tales of ARE actually good but some has its limitations and they need to know when a voice suits the character or not.
Stan and Leon's english voices for Radiant Mythology for example. Sure, I heard it, thought it was alright, but after listening to them talk for more then 20 minutes, it got really annoying.
This is just my opinion. But if they do bring Tales of Rebirth over, I'd probably buy it just to know wtf I'm doing in the game >_>

Lady Arieta I admit, some of the American dubs for the Tales of ARE actually good but some has its limitations and they need to know when a voice suits the character or not. I agree. They don't seem to have any idea of what works and what doesn't, sometimes. Not all characters are made alike and just any voice will do. Being picky may be time consuming, but quality really matters. They also need to take into consideration that just because some CAN voice act, doesn't mean you can throw them in to voice just anyone. ;-; I'm actually pro-dub, but I played Rebirth in Japanese so I'm used to the Japanese voices, too. And I'm tired of the re-use of voice actors, to the point it's obnoxious now.

I'm currently learning Japanese, so I'm using Rebirth (PSP) as part of my 'language studies'. It works very well for that purpose. So, as much as I'd love to see it released in English (I'd probably buy it again), I don't particularly care. It's awesome enough as it is.

I want all Tales games to be localised. I don't know Japanese, and I love the Tales series, so I buy just about every game released in NA, and only those.
besides, they put a couple characters from the game in Radiant Mythology, so NA know some of the characters and perhaps get a bit more interested because of that, so they should totally release it here lol.
