A world outside questing? Is it possible?
Mkay, This is going to be an RP pretty much where Fyre's getting used to her lovely new RP character. Feel free to join in if you're at an intermediate type level. Tiny posts = I bite you. Mkay?
Vampires vs. Vampire hunters
The moon shone high above the trees. Crescentia kept herself in the shadows of the trees. She was being watched. Her lavender eyes peered out from behind her bangs, she might be able to see who had been following her, but she could feel them. She hated the feeling of being watched, so she was hardly ever wrong about this.
To get a better scope of the area, Crescentia decided she'd need a view from the trees. maybe then she could see whomever it was behind her. She went into a low crouch, and with all her might she let out a full force jump. She landed perfectly onto a sturdy oak branch. Walking carefully, as though she was on a tight rope, she moved close to the tree truck. Once again, she peered into the night.
Nothing moved. No shadows danced in the night. No mice scurried to their hidden dens. There was no sound to be heard, no life was in this barren forest. I can't be wrong about this, Crescentia thought to herself. She stared out at the night still. I can't be wrong. Can I?

the moon looks pretty big tonight thought evan to himself. he was sitting by a tree staring at the moon. "I wonder if I should keep going for tonight" looking into the forest, he saw nothing but the black shadow of the forest and heard nothing but quiet rustle of the small breeze.
staring at his dwindling cache of money, he decided to trek forward, where ever that is. "wonder what kind of town I'll find" he heard something in bushes and quickly pierced it with a large needle that seemed to have come out of nowhere.whatever it was, it let out a loud squeal it turned out to be a large boar. "great. some food". he grabbed the needle and made it disappear to wherever he got it from.

Not from from the tree Crescentia was crouched on, there was a large squeal. There had been a brief glimpse of life in this forest. Although the thought didn't appeal to her, because it seemed as though the boar whom had let out the squeal was probably dead, or close to it. Good, my instincts are still as sharp as they should be. Someone is out there. She had slight comfort brought to her.
Knowing whatever was out there was close, Crescentia stayed close to the tree trunk. Hidden amongst the shadows of the branches surrounding her. Breathing the cool night air in slowly, she kept her presence in these woods as hidden as she could. Her mind kept her focus on finding who was there, knowing what they were planning to do. Who is there. Dammit, why can't I see him? She fumed to herself.

after gutting and cutting up the boar, Evan decided that he should leave the guts somewhere where the scavengers could get it easily. he got to edge of small clearing and tossed a bag containing the horrid smelling entrails. he didn't want to step into the clearing because he would've been easily there if there was anybody around. this should do he thought and when around to continue with his trip
the meat added plenty of weight to his bag. he was careful to wrap it so it wouldn't stain any of his materials. half way around the clearing, evan heard a faint ding from the bag. it was his map. it wasn't actually a map, but a piece of parchment with a large arrow on it. he had received the map from a friend that said it would show the arrow when he was close enough to any semblance of civilization. the arrow was pointing west.

A world outside questing? Is it possible?
Just out of her sight, there was a clearing to the forest. Probably a place that deer liked to frolic, foxes like to burrow. What was that sound she had heard though? Blasted, she couldn't see what that sound was. It didn't sound like an animal, they weren't so clumsy sounding. Maybe it was something being thrown into the clearing?
Well, whatever it was, Crescentia didn't care enough to wander out of her hiding place. She didn't want to disturb the crows who nested in the trees, or the leaves that laid dying on the forest grounds. Things are far to quite. Still, She now had her back against the tree, her body balanced so gracefully along the tree's branch. She was glad she found a sturdy branch when she leaped up upon it.
She would stay here for the night. She had a good vantage point to see if someone was approaching. But, with the heavy branches, well, it would take a vampire hunter to be able to spot her. But she was not worried about that, it's not like she hadn't fought one before. Be, she would rest. Not sleep, sleeping in a forest with no allies she knew was dangerous. No, she would allow herself to rest her tired muscles though.

the map led him to a large oak on this side of the forest. by the time he reached the the oak, the arrow on the has has faded I'm not even out of this stupid forest he thought might as well camp here. he let his bag drop with a barely audible thud.
he was very tired and very hungry. he pulled out a piece of meat from the bag and put it in between his hands. the meat was starting to turn brown fairly quickly. he hoped the smell wouldn't attract any unwelcome predators, should there be any in this quiet forest. could be that it was late that he rarely saw anything tonight. then again, the boar he began to eat was the only living thing he had seen since he entered the damn forest.
the meat was still a little raw but it tasted better than he had thought. he let his tiredness take over as soon as he finished with the piece that got. this tree is more comfortable than it looks

THUD! Crescentia knew that someone was just below her. Maybe her sore and achy muscles would not get such a rest. After all this running, after all this hiding, all she wanted to was rest, alone.
Barely moving a muscle, she peered down. What a smell that wafted about this tree. Keeping her disgust well hidden. The last thing she needed was to let some stranger know she was here. Crescentia knew that she had bounty hunters, vampire hunters, vampires she'd angered through her actions.
As much as she would have liked to let her panic consume her, she knew she could not. She simply stared down at the man below her. She kept silent as the grave, Maybe he won't notice me. Maybe I'll be able to rest. She wished for crow, or fluffy rabbit. She had grown hungry. She had no way to feel the warmth of blood against her lips, the life seeping from the creature into her hallow heart.

stupid map sucks thought evan. he looked up and said "I know you're up there" a small blue flame bolted back to evan from around the tree.
"listen, I don't feel like fighting right now, and from what I heard you aren't either. how about we talk next time the sun goes down?" he sat there letting the flame dissipate in his hand. he had put his head against the tree in the hopes that the response would let him sleep.
he used up most of his remaining energy on that boar and the weight of it drained more out of him. his shoulders were tired and sore and his legs drained of life from walking and fending off thieves and many types of creatures all day the moon's brighter than I remember

"You take me far to lightly. The sun barely affects me." She hissed. She did not appreciate being underestimated by a mere human. Although, she wondered about his ability. That blue flame intrigued her. She knew that if he had not been hunting her, she would be interested in that.
Sighing loudly, Crescentia knew she had no choice. She was stuck in this tree, someone figured out by this... Who was he? She didn't even know.
"Who are you?" She said, keeping her voice steady. She didn't fear this man. "Which bounty is after my head now." Crescentia firmly grasp the sword that was snuggly strapped to her back.

"I guess you can call me a courier of sorts. people ask me to carry important letters and packages" he said "if I didn't used my scout, you would've been unnoticed up there"
he heard the familiar sound of a sword poised for a fight. he had placed his hand into his bag. he didn't want to fight right now. he hoped something like this could wait until morning at least. he was hoping it could be postponed.
"if you can stand the sun, we'll talk then, okay?" a ring of of the blue fire surrounded him and disappeared. he remained against the tree unmoving. whatever supernatural that be in control right now, I beg you let me sleep

Crescent far from wished to stick around for this human to take where he was going. But, she still didn't wish to fight. She had enough stamina that she could run, or she could fight. Luckily, I am not afraid of running. Only cowards thinks it cowardly to run. With that, she leaped down from the branch she was on.
Landing on the ground, right hand still firmly placed on her sheathed blade, she shook her head so her hair kept out of her eyes. The human looked completely defenseless. But, she knew better, he probably used that blue flame as a defense. Unsure of what he could do, she knew attacking would be risky.
"No, we won't talk about this." She looked this courier dead on. She released her grip on her blade then. "I don't plan on sticking around long enough for someone to take me in. Stupid humans."
With that, she ran a short distance, picking up speed, and flying onto a tree branch. She glanced back at the courier before bounding from tree limb to tree limb. If he was smart, he would not follow her for awhile.

he sat there watching the vampire run off. now I can get some rest. curious about who this person was, he formed the blue flame in his hand again. it pulsated twice. "go follow that vampire. try to stay discreet." he said to the flame. "report when I wake up" the flame spun and flew off in the direction she bounded off.
evan had finally gone to sleep, wondering what information he could get about that person. at the moment he drifted in to a deep sleep, he could see what the fire ball could see. this vampire was faster than he thought. then the image faded.

A world outside questing? Is it possible?
Crescentia knew that her speed was one to speak of. Since she already knew how to fight when she was turned into a vampire, she had known that she would need speed, and skill to go along with her fighting skills. Having confidence int hat, she didn't bother to go back and check to see if the human was following her or not.
She ran until her stamina began to fail her, and her speed grew to a slow run. It was nearing dawn now. She had better rest. If he found her once, he was sure he'd find her again. What was that blue flame he controlled? And his "scout"? He said that was how he knew I was in that tree. She puzzled over these images.
Brining herself down to a brisk walk, Crescentia looked for a good tree. She needed to feed, it would help her strength. Finding a sturdy maple, she jumped onto the thickest branch and held out her arm. After a series of sounds, bird chirps, a crow that was black as the night that was fading landed on her outstretched arm. Quick as lightening her other hand came up and grabbed the bird's neck, and snapped it.
The dead bird stayed clenched in hands for a minute, then she brought it up to her mouth. The feathers so soft, so still, brushed against her lips, and she sank her fangs into the birds neck and easily pierced it's skin. She drank the blood that freely poured from the two puncher wounds. After the bird had little remaining blood, she tossed it to the ground. She'd sleep now, and with that she pulled her cloak over her eyes, and made sure no part of her body was exposed. I'll give the bird a burial after I awaken. was the last think she thought before falling asleep on the large maple tree.

the sun had woken evan up in the mid afternoon though it still felt like morning. he hasn't seen his scout yet, probably still watching that vampire. I was almost positive she would've tried to kill me in my sleep. "I wonder I should go after her". he was thinking about what she looked like last night. she reminded him of somebody.
his scout had returned, it carried little information. "take a nap" he said to the flame "show me where she ran off to before that" the flame moved in the general direction from where it returned from
considering his options, he thought it be best to leave his cargo with their respective clients. he reached for the map again which showed an arrow still pointing west. "guess it wasn't acting up after all"

A world outside questing? Is it possible?
Crescentia woke from feeling the warmth on her skin. It wasn't burning her, nor causing her pain. It was just warm, she felt warmth and chill different than humans. The cold soothed her body as she became one with what her vacant heart felt. The heat, even though it would be enjoyable to humans, made her extremely uncomfortable.
Looking at the sun, she realized she had slept longer than she planned to. Dammit, she cursed to herself as she jumped down from the tree. Her daggers rubbed against her flesh and gave her the comfort of knowing they were still there. She looked at the bird, and remembered what she had said. Kneeling on the ground she dug a hole in the earth. Deep enough to cover the bird, and keep it from coyotes, and foxes, but shallow enough she didn't have to strain her hands to break the earth part.
She had been heading west. If that human courier was going to be following, he might be getting close. It would be foolish to keep going the same direction. So, using her instincts, she began jogging north. She would be able to keep this brisk pace for many hours since she had fed recently. She could only hope that the human wouldn't follow her, but she knew it would be suicide to believe he wasn't.
