I'm currently filing my enlistment paperwork for the United States Air Force. Having a tattoo and eight ear piercings was a bit of a concern for me, but, I've found the guidelines governing such things.

I've looked it up in multiple places (official and unofficial sources) and they're all mostly the same. If you're interested in what I found, check it out

I've taken out my piercings and I can easily cover my tattoo so it's not a problem, but, do any of you have problems? How do you deal with professional situations like school, work, etc?

A guy in my economics class has a pierced ear and some eyebrow rings. He's in JROTC so he has to take them out before he gets there.


Have any of you been in a situation where you've had to hide your body mods or tattoos? How did it make you feel?

So, what you're saying is, you just don't get the stuff that'll get you in trouble, or you get them in discreet places? o-o Sounds logical...
