I was recently sucked into Bones the tv show. For those of you who don't know, it is a show about a forensic anthropologist, her lab assistants and the FBI agent she works with. It is hilarious and I highly recommend it. I soon learned they were based on some books by Kathy Reichs. I've read 6 of them now. They are interesting, though not what I was hoping for. The hilarity of the show is not really present in the books, though in later books you start seeing bits and pieces of it from one character in particular. Although the main character Temperance Brennan has the same name in both show and book, they are rather different people in terms of character and past. Anyone read them or have an opinion?

Oh, noes!
My dad reads them. He says that the show is based off Reichs life but with the character having the name from the books.
