Tween was completely unsure of herself as she landed in the secluded area of the park that she and Dr. West tended to meet in. After all, this was a big step, and so sudden... But it felt right, and maybe just this once, going with her feelings was the right thing. The scavenger tended to rely more on reasoning and keeping a cool head, but for some reason, she'd felt drawn to the doctor's expansiveness and charisma.
After a few moments of self-concious preening, she glanced around in hopes of seeing either West or the sister he'd mentioned was coming. She was also making sure that she didn't see any of the pidge from her flock, as well.

Chorus Line flew to the park looking her best. She had her pee c**k feathers as always, but she had a beautiful necklace of purple beads tied around her neck as well as the flower that Harvey had brought her held firmly in her beak. When she landed at the spot West Side Story had told her about, she knew that the nervous looking pidge must be the girl her brother had fallen for. "Hello there miss. You must be Bunny." She smiled kindly at the dear and offered her wing. "The name's Chorus Line. I'm West's sister." West Side Story hurried to the park, hoping that he wasn't late. He was dressed smartly with his parka tied firmly in place, hoping against hope that his bride would already be there waiting for him. When he saw her gray feathers he knew that things were going to be just fine, as she was already being welcomed by his sister.
As his claws touched the ground he bowed to her and held out the tiny string he'd risked being killed over. He'd narrowly escaped the old lady whose lovely crimson coat had a string hanging off of it. He'd seen it at once and had had to have it for his dear Bunny. When the old lady had started to swing at him as he gripped the string in his talons and pulled, he knew he was a goner. But luckily the string had broke and he was safe now.
A bit tiredly, he offered the string to Tween. "For my lovely bride."

Tween laid her wing lightly on the other female's with a nod. She glanced at the other's beads and plumes with slight envy, but knew that she'd never be able to be inconspicuous if she were so inked and accessorized. "Pleasure to meet you, Chorus Line... I'm Tween."
She smiled, and took the string from West, nuzzling her cheek against his lightly in the same movement. The scavenger carefully tied the string around her leg, making sure that it wouldn't be caught on anything. If she'd known the risk he'd taken to get it, she'd be both flattered and have the urge to give him a bit of a smack. She flushed under her feathers, glancing away when he called her lovely, though. "I... Hm. Thank you."

Quirking a brow at her brother she asked him, "I could have sworn you said her name was Bunny. How on earth did you get Bunny from Tween?" She smiled and was showing her emotions for all to see. Chorus was outrageously happy and today even the rain wouldn't make her upset.
Though she was wishing her best friend would be there, but it looked like he was nowhere to be found. This saddened her, but she wasn't going to let herself be down on this, the day of her mating. She began to wonder as to where her love was but knew he'd be there eventually. Thinking it would be wise to tell the two of who she'd notified to perform the ceremony. "Ahh! Dear Tween and West, I've notified Baker about the going ons of today, and he's to perform our matings."
Dr. West smiled merrily at Chorus' question. "I told you she was my Bunny, not that her name was Bunny." The feel of her feathers against his was pure pleasure. "You're perfectly welcome my darling." As he listened on to hear of Baker. "And he won't be angry?" When he heard Chorus Line's dissent, he smiled and said. "Well thanks be to Baker."

Tween listened to the siblings, slightly amused. She tensed slightly when she heard it was Baker who would be officiating, though. But then, as long as they didn't tell him which flock they were from, there shouldn't be a problem, right? She nodded, sighing. "Sounds good to me..."

Chorus Line nodded and said, "Baker is a very nice pidge. I've had the pleasure of performing for him in the past. Just don't get on his bad side. And to keep from there being any trouble, I've made sure to leave the fact of what flock you're from a secret. If he asks, make sure that you're able to say you're from Happy Hour's. I don't think he has a problem with her."

"I'm fairly positive 'e wouldn't have a problem, Love. And Miss 'Tween, don't you worry your 'ead over it. You aren't from Ma's flock, so Baker ought not to have a grudge with you."
The coo seem to come almost from nowhere as the owner of the voice landed silently beside the small part of pidge.
The Harvest was well preened, all smiles, and had a soft, silk red ribbon tied about himself in a proud fashion. He had gotten himself all dolled up for the occasion, as he was being joined with the pidge he loved most.
"And if 'e says anything to you about it negatively, just let me know. I'll see what I can do about it." He spoke with a feigned air of confidence, because he was unsure of what he could really do... She was from Half Price's flock, so everything would be fine. And surely Baker would not forget Harvey's loyalty so soon. He was the one who had revealed the Stargazer for the treacherous traitor that she really was, what with courting a male from Big Ma's flock.
And he had something with him, much as he did earlier when he had met Chorus for dancing lessons. He had revisited that market and another flower was tied to his leg with vibrant yarn. He swiftly removed the thing that was beautiful, but hard to find, and passed it towards Chorus Line.
"For you, my dear Chor..."

Chorus smiled her most loving smile at The Harvest as he landed near her. She listened to what he had to say and she smiled at his bravado at taking on Baker. Because if you were in his flock, you knew Baker had quite the temper when upset. When Chorus Line was offered another flower, she smiled a smile that spread to her whole body. She took it in her beak and tucked it under her wing as she had earlier with the other flower. "Thank you my darling Harvey. . ." Chorus said as she leaned her head forward and preened the feathers on his neck.

She was actually more worried about Half Price's law against telling others about the flock, but that didn't bear saying. The scavenger nodded to the others, puffing out her feathers for a moment with a sigh. She felt right frumpy around these pidge, and she didn't even have anything to make herself look nice, other than the string West had brought her.
After a moment, se sidled closer to the doctor, and let her wing brush against his. For once, she was unusually nervous, and therefore, quiet.

Dr. West was normally more subdued around his older sister, and so he was as silent as Tween. But he felt his heart beat his chest in excitement. He was also nervous of the law that he had broken, if unknowingly. "I've told her of the flock. . ." Dr. West whispered in Tween's ear when she got closer.

Tween glanced at him sharply, her eyes widening. She leaned in a bit closer, whispering back to him. "You didn't tell about the situation within, did you? My opinion, that's what they really want kept quiet, so that none of the other flock leaders will try to step in and help... Since you're an upper, there might not be any repercussions for you."
She forced a small smile for the benefit of the others, preening the feathers just above Dr. West's parka.

West Side Story was getting a little hot, and so took off his parka. His sweating was entirely nervousness and fear and he nodded. "I told her about everything. I have no secrets when I talk to my sister. I told her about the problems before I joined the flock and she supported me in my decision." He was really starting to worry when she talked of his being upper class. "Forget about that. It means nothing to me." He finished his whispering and nibbled the tip feather of his left wing. It was a nervous habit that he'd picked up when he was a fledgling.

"Oh, oh dear... West!" Her voice rose slightly on his name, but she quickly quieted herself. It wasn't as though she could understand, her only sibling had passed away before he could even be named. She covered her face with a wing, thinking. Even if Chorus had supported the doctor's decision, if she mentioned the situation to others and it got to Baker, or even directly to Baker, things could fly completely out of control. That wasn't the best thing for the flock, in her opinion.

((This is so odd! I've never RPed any of my characters together before. XD God moding is allowed in this situation though.))
West Side Story gave her a shushing noise. "Don't get her attention! She'll come over to see what's wrong!" When Chorus Line glanced over at them Dr. West smiled at her as if nothing was wrong. "Oh dear. . ."

He tilted his head s lightly as Chorus affectionately preened his neck feathers and the expression on his face could only be considered euphoric. The fact that he was here with her, getting joined with her, was a thrilling experience and the best one he had ever had.
"Only the best for you, m'Lady." He cooed and returned the preening.
