Because playing WoW isn't geeky enough already, I have to collect little critters to follow me around.
I already have the 50pet achievement and I'm working on the latest 75 for the llittle fawn salt lick.

I'm close to getting my 50 pets... only 5 more to go and those will have to be earned through rep and holiday events.

Awesome, if you haven't already I highly suggested getting rep with the Oracles. :p Its piss easy and you get like 4pets, and the chance at a mount.

Grrr at the 75 pets. I'm sitting at 72 right now. I guess I'm banking on Childrens week getting me 2, and maybe sporregar rep. http://www.warcraftpets.com/account/profile.asp?user=cattiibrie is my pet list. This site kicks butt for pet collecting if anyone here hasn't taken a look yet... Edit: Now at 88... need more tourny pets!

Collecting pets is one of the thing I'm looking forward to most getting back to WoW.

My priest has 52, I wish I could trade pets off my other characters.. my Hunter and Pally both have rare pets I want to give him for the 75 achievement sad

oh god my vanity pets on korgaroth are awesome. it all started with the MECHA CHICKEN. then i picked up some plans for a mecha squirrel so i started engineering just for that lol. i also have a bunny and a cockroach (for the lulz) and um....i know i have something else i just can't remember what it is right now....

I'm about at 20 right now.
I haven't really been collecting that actively, though.
If you're looking for something REALLY rare, go farm the four original whelps.
Edit: 54 pets now. Almost exhausted the AH, all it really has left to offer are the Tournament pets, Oozeling, and the white kitten.

I've got 77 on my priest, but I'm going to quit plying because the new expansion screws over lore.. total marketing ploy that I won't support.
My rogue's got 15 or so, hunter has about 10 and miscellaneous on other alts.
