My friend, Erik, he loves his wife Rose more than anything else in the world, right? He'd GLADLY die for her. So, when she dragged him in to a fortune teller, and the fortune teller says their love is going to end in tragedy, he gets really upset. Rose tries to tell him it's nothing, and then they get into a fight. Then, he left the house, and was gone for almost 2 whole days before I found him passed out under a bridge on my way to work! And he looked like he'd been beaten up. He'd rolled his car into a ditch! I think he tried to kill himself. cry
And now, he won't talk to me, he says very few words to Rose, and he's acting all depressed. Is there anything I could do for him?

That's awful! ErikGilpher Erik? Ahhh.. That's so sad. First of all, he's alive, so I'm glad because of that.
But, I'm not so sure what you can do for him. I guess all you can do is be there. Let him know that you care about him..
I'm bad with advice. I'm so sorry.
Maybe you two could take him somewhere.. Liek, if it's sunny where you live, a picnic.. Or out to dinner. I don't know. But I hope things get better. T_____T

Did anybody think that you would really seriously slit your wrists In fact I think that everybody thinks you're seriously full of s**t...
Weill you could tell him that noone knows your future, and He shouldn't go and get all depressed on what she said.also im glade that he didn't die
You think you're saying something relevant as you connect the dots You never realized you have to get in line to suck a c**k

The only thing I can really think of is to get him some sort of professional help. I know that's a generic answer, but it could be one of the best things you could do for him. I mean, leaving him alone for a while might help, but on the other hand, it could just worsen the situation and cause a horrific outcome.
I'm sorry to hear that happened though. I hope things get better for him.

I suppose Hannibal has the right idea. Professional help, in a situation like this is better left to someone who knows exactly how to deal with it. But make sure he knows Rose and you still love him, and that you will always be there for him. If he doesn't speak that much, that's really okay. He needs time to also figure out how to deal with it himself. I wouldn't necessarily leave him by myself, but try not to push him into conversation. Go about things normally, the best thing to do is is let him know that nothing is going to happen, and no one can foresee into someone else's future.
Also, he should know by doing this. If he kills himself, he's fulfilling that prophecy. If he dies, the relationship will end in tragedy. Make sure he realizes that...
