This is a sea of clouds. Its a beautiful place and a dangerous one as well. The clouds have bouncy properties. They can be used as trampolines. However falling from here would cause death by crashing in the ocean.

Cindy arrived up in the clouds above, she had idea that the trip would be that scary and she had no idea that her boat would manage to hold up in that terrible stream. As she sat in her boat drifting along something odd happened to her. She saw a giant pink flying...horse. Yes, it was quite a sight to behold but what was even wierder was that a man was riding on that horse. Cindy stared in awe and wonder at this. Soon though the man dropped off of his horse and begain decsending down into Cindy's small boat. She was sure that his weight would make it break.

Though oddly enough the man had full control of where he fell and somehow actually managed to slow down the speed of his fall. Cindy thought it best not to question it though and just kept her mouth quiet. The man smiled at her, he was dressed in a full Knight outfit and was obviously very old. “Welcome to Skypiea, I am the knight of Sky Island and am here to greet you. Up above you is my horse.” Cindy chuckled lightly as this man meant well. She shook his hand lightly and then said “I am Cindy, from the blues below and I have come to learn from your people.”

The man chuckled and then said “Well, if I can teach you anything right now it would be to not go into Upper Yard, there is the land where Enel, the Lighting God used to rule but preists still reside there. So if I were you I would not go there. But having deallt with you Blue Sea dwellers before I know that you will go there. In case you need my help in any situation take this.” the man said as he threw Cindy something. Cindy caught it in her hands and then looked it over. It appeared to be a simple metal whistle in which once you blow noise comes out.

“With that whistle I will be able to hear you no matter where you may be. Oh, and while you're here I would suggest picking up some dials, they are rather useful for many things. I see you are perplexed right now but don't worry, everything will be made clear to you soon enough. Just keep heading the way you are and you'll get there soon enough. Best of luck!” and with that the flying horse thing swooped down low and the Knight grabbed onto the a rope on the horse and pulled himself aboard.

----- イくぜ! --Skypiea was a land of legend; place where the laws of physics hardly applied. People sailed on clouds that shouldn't support the weight of a ship, vehicles were powered by magical shells with strange abilities, and natives with wings! This place was just so weird. So much different than the Blues he had lived in for the first eighteen years of his life. Luckily, Hisao wasn't that interested in the fact, so he really didn't question how an entire civilization could be built on masses of floating water. He just sailed on the white cloud seas that expanded outwards in all directions. The Samurai stood at the wheel of his Average Ship, still stunned at what happened.
Hisao "Bushido" Miyamoto had been minding his own business in the North Blue below. He had no plans on traveling to Skypiea. He didn't even know such a place existed! It seemed so unreal. But now he was here, floating on top of a sea of white fluffy clouds. The series of events that lead him to this magical floating land were anything but normal. Like mentioned earlier, Hisao had been minding his business in the North Blue after buying his new Average Ship, when suddenly, the entire ocean began to shake like an earthquake and a giant column of spinning water erupted under him, sending him soaring high into the sky.
The sheer force of the Knock-Up Stream crushed Hisao into the floor of the ship, totally immobilizing him. The Samurai was sure that if this lasted much longer, the entire ship would break apart and throw him miles through the sky before crashing into the ocean below at terminal velocity. Using all the muscles in his neck, Hisao turned his head so that he was able to look upwards. As soon as he did, he greatly regretted it. Above him, coming at him at an alarming rate of speed, was what looked like an ocean. Was he upside-down?! This was just ridiculous! He had no idea what was past the ocean, but he was sure he was about to find out.
The wall of apparent floating water came rushing at him and the Kakusei Arai crashed through. Hisao had taken a deep breath before entering the floating ocean, but the force of the impact forced all the air out of his lungs. Luckily, the Knock-Up Stream continued and after a few seconds of breathlessness, the entire ship was pushed through the top of the cloud ocean. The owner of the ship flopped around the deck like a fish, taking deep breaths of air as he inadvertently imitated some kind of fish. After refilling his lungs with fresh oxygen, Hisao slowly stood up and looked around, leaning against the wheel.(King's Decent: Complete!) (4/4 posts)

----- イくぜ! --It had taken Hisao about half an hour to recover from the initial shock of discovering an entirely new world above the clouds. It's not like people visited this places from the Blues every other day. After recovering, Hisao's simple yet scheming mind began to turn. This was Hisao's discovery and it would make him rich, or so he hoped. The Samurai had been sailing around in the vast sea of white, and began to wonder something rather important. Where there even people here? From what he had seen, there wasn't a single soul. He wondered if there were fish in the cloud ocean below him, or towns just out of sight. There had to be, right?
Hisao pulled out a telescope that he had stored behind the helm of the ship and held it up to his right eye in order to try to spot some sign of life. After staring through the glass tubing, Hisao was genuinely confused. "These things are so weird. Everything seems farther away. How is this supposed to help?" He asked himself, and suddenly got the brilliant idea to turn it around. "Oh, there we go." The Samurai muttered and began to scout the area in search for life. There didn't seem to be anything in the sky though. He spun around several times as he peered off into the distance before toppling over from a wave of dizziness.
After getting up and brushing the dust off his a**, Hisao picked up the telescope, the proper way this time, and brought it up to his eye for one more search. Instead of constantly moving around in a frantic attempt to spot life like he had the first time, the Samurai instead looked towards what he figured to be his north, the horizon between the sky and White Sea dividing the telescope lens into two horizontal sides. Hisao focused on this spot for a minute before he finally spotted his first living thing. It was a fish. Some kind of winged, flying fish to be more precise. The first thought that came to his mind was how it tasted.
After deciding that a flying fish would taste something like flaky chicken, the Samurai lifted the telescope again, hoping to spot more signs of life. This time, it only took a few minutes. Out in the distance, Hisao could make out several M shaped creatures in the sky; obviously birds. If this place had birds, it was obvious there was land, somewhere. Now he just had to find some of it. Hisao walked to the front of the ship with the telescope in hand and stood as far out as he could before looking outwards with magnified vision. But there was nothing there. He did this with every side and had the same results. That's when he heard a horse cry out.(Defensive Jousting: Complete!) (4/4 posts)

----- イくぜ! --Hisao's head slowly turned around while the rest of his body remained stationary, frozen in pure horror. There was no freaking possible way a horse could be here, right? He had only seen birds and fish while he had been here. Nothing larger than that. And even if he had, he was in the middle of the ocean! There was no way a horse could be out here. Unless it did or something. And of course, it did. This place never ceased to amaze Hisao. First with the cloud ocean, and now flying horses. What was next, gigantic snakes and magical sea shells? If only Hisao knew how right he actually was. The oddities were just beginning.
Hisao had no idea what was in store for him. The horse itself was pink with white dots covering it's body. It also had bird-like wings attached to its shoulder blades. It was probably one of the oddest creatures Hisao had, and will, ever ever seen or will see in his life. The horse-bird-thing hovered twenty-five feet out and above his shop. On closer inspection, a man was sitting on the creature. He was in some kind of armor with a lance or something of the sort in his hand. The man shifted his weight and leaped off the horse. Hisao figured he was suicidal or something; wearing armor and leaping from that high would mean death.
But oddly enough, the man didn't come crashing down to his death. In fact, it was quite the opposite. The knight seemed to gently float towards the ship, as if he could freely control his weight while in mid air. He hovered for a second before landing on the railing not five feet from the stunned Swordsman. This place was so freaking crazy! Not only did they have flying horses, but people that could defy common physics. But then again, the entire area was defying physics by being here. If Hisao had been a smarter man, his head probably would have exploded by now. Luckily, Hisao was an idiot, so most of this didn't affect him.
The knight gave Hisao a bow and removed his helmet with his free hand. After removing the helmet, he revealed himself to be an old man with white hair on his face. Yet another thing coming. After standing on the railing for a minute, the man stepped down onto the deck, as well as the horse, whose wings had vanished now. The old man knight and his bird-horse creature stood on one side of the ship while the captain of it stood at the other, totally speechless. This lack of noise continued for several minutes before the old man cleared his throat and began to speak.(Offensive Jousting: Complete!) (4/4 posts)

----- イくぜ! --"Judging from the look of utter shock and confusement on your face, I'm going to guess that you're a Gravity Blue Rider. You're from the ocean below, correct?" Asked the old man, before introducing himself as Gan Fall. Hisao quickly shook himself in an attempt to snap out of the haze his brain was in. After doing so, the young Samurai bowed and answered the Sky Night. "My name is Hisao, and I guess so. I was just sailing in the North Blue when suddenly a gigantic vortex of water exploded underneath me and I ended up here. By the way, where exactly is here?" Hisao asked, extremely curious as to where he was.
Gan Fall listened to Hisao's story and couldn't help but let out a short laugh. "You should consider yourself extremely lucky young man. Hundreds of people have lost their lives to that way of entering Skypiea. That's what this place is called. An entire island floating among the clouds." Explained Gan Fall. Hisao nodded after the Sky Knight had explained to him where exactly he was, not really caring not having the capacity to understand it. As long as he was alive and in one piece, he was perfectly happy. Crossing his arms and looking past Gan Fall for a moment, Hisao muttered, "Skypiea, eh?"
Gan Fall overheard Hisao muttered question and nodded. "Aye, Skypiea. But be careful. Although it may seem peaceful right now, there are dozens of dangers in this land. There are the Sea Kings in this ocean, as well a Sky Priests and Natives. If you're not careful, you could very well end up dead." Stated Gan Fall grimly. It was obvious that he wasn't joking about this. "If you want, I can teach you a few techniques that could help you in case you get into any trouble. It's only two techniques, but they could prove to be quite useful if you find yourself in a jam, as the saying goes."
Hisao smirked and nodded at the Sky Knight named Gan Fall. He would happily learn any technique that someone thought could save their life, cause it probably would one day. Thinking back for a moment, there was one technique that Gan Fall had used earlier that Hisao really wanted to know, more than any other technique of Gan Fall's. "How about that technique you used earlier after you jumped off your horse? You just like slowly hovered down twenty feet without hurting yourself or my ship. How could you do something like that with such heavy armor on?" Hisao asked, very curious about this technique in particular.
Gan Fall raised an eyebrow at the energetic Samurai and tried thinking back to what Hisao was asking. He used most of his techniques out of reflex now, so he wasn't sure what technique he had used earlier. After hearing Hisao's questioning description, the Sky Knight nodded and laughed, now knowing exactly what technique the youth was talking about. "Oh, you mean King's Decent. I'll gladly teach you that technique. It is a very useful skill if you can master it. All there really is to it is changing your body's angle while falling so that you catch more wind that slows you down. After that, you move your body in such ways that you can somewhat control how you fall."(Camouflage: Complete!) (5/5 posts)

After purchasing his odd shaped shell items named Dials, Takehiko Naoki began to explore the vast sea of cloud. He was amazed that he was actually sailing across the clouds, it was something to behold. He did somewhat feel aprehensive as he sailed across it in his one man boat, it didn't make things any better when he heard an odd sound come from above him, Naoki swung his head up to see the source of this sound. Shocked wasn't the word that could have described Naoki's reaction as he saw the old man coated in armour riding the flying horse down from the clouds. Skypiea was truly a place of wonder.
1/4 - Kings Decent
The old man on his winged horse swept down and past Naoki, he wasn't sure if the man was extremely fast, or what seemed to be the weirder option of that being Naoki was slower. It seemed impossible to Naoki for a short while until he saw the man fly back up through the clouds, it was simple enough now that he thought about it; Naoki had just been shot up high into the air, high up into the clouds where the air was thinner. Naoki wasn't as of yet in tune with the atmosphere of Skypiea. As Naoki saw the old man come back around for another lap, he threw his hands up into the air "Oii~ Old man!" Naoki called out.
2/4
The old man noticed Naoki's call only once he had flown past, thus he turned around abruptly and slowed down as he neared Naoki's one man boat. "Well then, this is an amazing thing to see. A Gravity Blue Rider in a one man boat. What an accomplishment on your behalf. The name is Gan Fall, welcome to Skypiea young lad" he said, his winged horse flying keeping him in the one spot. Naoki would have let him land, but his boat was meant for one man, not two men and a horse. "Skypiea? So thats what this place is called. Huh, figures" Naoki said, suddenly stumbling to the side, but regaining his composure quickly.
3/4
Naoki scratched the back of his head, he was starting to feel tired causing him to slump down into the bottom of his boat. "Don't worry kid, you'll get over it eventually, all Gravity Blue Riders go through this stage. You just need to get used to the atmosphere around this place" Gan Fall said a smile on his face. Naoki opened his eyes slightly, he couldn't believe how difficult it was to survive in the clouds. The next thing he knew he saw something shining hit his chest, he picked it up with a weak hand and saw a whistle, he tried asking what it was but he couldn't speak. "Use that whistle if you ever need my help. Till then, adieu!" Gan Fall said, then in the blink of an eye. He was gone.
