The Royal Dragon flew around the park, looking carefully for things which may've fallen from some human's bag... Or, if he was lucky, something that was left behind. His stomach growled. He really should not have left scavenging to the last minute, but he had honestly forgotten that he was out of things to trade. Normally, he had some left over, but last teamaker had been very demanding...
Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed something colorful sticking out of one of the garbage cans. He banked a left and landed on the rim. Carefully, he used his beak to pull it out. It was a soft snap-on tie, whose snap had broken. Apparently the owner did want it anymore after that. It looked a bit old and worn. Maybe that was part of the reason it was thrown away... Oh well, that only meant it was softer, and some rich teamaker would surely like that. He took to the air, holding onto the tie.

"That's something pretty you have there." a suddenly bubbly voice said above. A beautiful jacobin pidge with a huge neck ruffle sat on the roof above the trash can, smiling down. The jacobin had the most gorgous dazzling feathers and sparkled in the sun like a sequin dress. She chirped softly and flew down, landing before Dragon could take off.

The Royal Dragon was only in the air for a second before he landed again, about where he'd taken off from. He wasn't about to leave when he had the attentions of such a lovely lady... He put it down, so he could speak, and held it lightly with one foot. "Do you like it?" He asked, with a smile. She was pretty... He liked the way the sun hit her feathers...

"Oh yes." the female continued, a tad shy now. "It looks very soft and comfortable. My chicks would just love to snuggle with that." she continued, side stepping closer to him to get a better look.

Her chicks would love to snuggle it? So, she had chicks, then... Well, he suppose he could trade with her. Of course, that meant he couldn't steal from her... He wouln't steal from such a pretty lady. Not when she seemed so interested in him. That meant he'd need to scavenge again, but... Hey, why not... He brought it closer to her, so she could see it. "It is soft and it should be very comfortable. I'm sure your chicks would love it."

She reached out and tickled it with a feather. "OOhhh. That IS soft!" she cooed. "Um..well, I don't have very much money, but I could give you some of my feathers? They sparkle a lot, so I know some pidge make window hangings out of them. Would that be okay?"

The Royal Dragon winced. The feathers were nice, but... He didn't think they'd fetch him much food... Still, he didn't want to turn her down. If he let her have the tie, then maybe he could see her again sometime. "Um... do you have any extra food?" He asked, meekly.

She nodded. "Oh! Yes but its all at my nest! I could take you there or bring it here. What would you prefer, darling?" she asked him in a gingery, sugar coated voice.

He grinned. She was inviting him over? Nice! He didn't think she would, but... Well, who would believe his luck?! "Where's your nest?"
