Riiiight... So I'm giving this a shot... and its a loooooong shot too, so I hope it doesn't crash land TOO painfully...
Cutting to the cheese now.
Background Story:
"What's going on now is that now the Underworld is headless... Mundus, one of the worst demon lords to cross Hell is gone. And shortly after that, Argosax, the strongest of the older demons perished too. And what's left is an Underworld with the position of Evil-Incarnated-In-Chief open and all the high-ranking demons fighting over it all over Hell. The big deal now with all this mess, is that its just the peak of the iceberg. A war like this never stays in the Underworld. Oh yeah, its gonna hit us in the face too. And it gonna hit us bad. Before you know it there's demons all over the place. And of course that's not good... But that's not even the worst part... the worst part possibly is the fact that some of us want to actually take over the Underworld themselves... its scary that some actually have the capability of doing that..."

You get the main idea. Hell is without a leader and all the demons are fighting over that position. And OF COURSE the war is expanded to the human world. And what's the natural consenquence? Yes, we have the formation of several fronts and several sides... There's the demons (naturally), the people that are up against Hell and anything that goes with it, Dante for example (naturally again) and that third party that wants to take over Hell for themselves (Again, naturally). But, like all wars, the reasons behind it are NEVER the ones you actually see. So what is behind this war after all? No, I'm not going to spill my beans here. xd
The RPG revolves around this war, as your characters get drageed into it one way or the other. There is really no 'good' or 'bad' guys in this war. Each of us has his reasons. You join a side, and you play along with it. Of course, you might choose to switch sides during the story, and that's perfectly ok, as long as you make it clear.
To avoid story confusion and backtracks, nobody will be allowed to join after the story has started rolling. Once we start, if you see that the story isn't your cup of coffee after all, you are free to leave if you want.
You can be a demon, a demon hunter, or just a person with supernatural abilities that might have some 'unfinished bussiness' with the Underworld. Or you might be new to the Underworld thing, and just get pulled into it by a fateful accident. Its up to you to decide. Go wild (not too much...). The tide of this war can be easily turned.

(Editred it a bit) Name: Zoe Stramer Age: 23 Appearance: Tall & athletic; red waist-length hair usually in ponytail; amazon green eyes. Wears black worn out & torn jeans, black goth boots, black tybe top & black complex shirt. Wears a pendant of hangman's rope with a black cross. Personality: Mainly a calm and collected person that doesn't speak her emotions. Rather quiet and introverted. Due to her Firestarter powers she developed great self-control that ended up in her becoming too private and unexpressive. Zoe rarely expresses her emotions or thoughts even though she often feels she needs to. If she reaches a point where she cannot supress her anger her powers of Firestarting may even backfire on her. Her self-conflict often overwhelms her. Her lack of experience and lack of confidence in her abilities often makes her lose her nerve. Primary Weapon: Taint of the Firestarter, her abilty to create fire that is practically impossible to put out. Most often she uses a whip-like manifestation of her powers. Secondary Weapon(s): Martial arts, witchcraft Ranged Weapon(s): A Glock 17 handgun. Secondary Form: She can transform into either a cat or an owl. Using witchcraft, she can transform into practically anything she pleases. Skills: Zoe can do almost anything with witchcraft, but her standard powers include of course, Firestarter powers, a form of teleportation called 'orbing', empathy (sensing other beings' feelings and channeling them), astral projection (sending her a visible double of her consiousness to another place) and premonitions of the future. Zoe is very fit and because she likes sports she is both very agile and fast; she is especially fond of gymnastics and therefore is very able in dodging blows and maneuovers. She might not be very skilled in combat, but her knowledge of witchcraft and the demonic world and her sheer intuition make her a good ally, or a formidable foe. Background: Zoe is the daughter of a witch and a Firestarter. She was raised in her wiccan family and taught the wiccan arts from an early age. Her childhood was a rather happy one until her abilities to foretell the future through visions and premonitions started to show. She began being tortured by dreams and visions, but no one actually believed she could possibly be predicting the future. But she herself could tell that she was often grimly right. The premonition that frightened her the most was a blurry vision of the death of her parents in a giant fire. For years she feared she was the cause of the fire and supressed her firestarting powers to such an extent they nearly died off. When she was 16 her parents were killed when demons ransacked their home and set a fire that nothing could put out. Zoe was saved from the 1st attack because she accidentaly 'orbed' out of the house and out of the demons' tracking range. When one of the leading demons discovered her some time later, and tried to finish her off, all her contained anger and sorrow in conjuction with her until then overly surpressed Firestarter powers 'erupted' and started a firestorm that devastated quite a large area around her. Zoe found herself emanating flames from all over her body, and when she saw the demon burned to ashes she couldn't believe she had done it. Later Zoe was taken in by the Magdalene Coven, the wiccan coven her mother belonged to, to be protected. By the time she was 20, Zoe was a witch very able to handle herself against demons. But her traumatic first experience against them left a bitter scar on her soul. Ever since she has been reluctant to trust demons, even those that her coven has under its service. Zoe is relatively low in the coven's hierarchy, and isn't allowed in many of the coven's secrets, and mainly has a duty of vanquishing minor demons. So far her coven has not trusted her with any big mission or task, and she feels they are underestimating her. But she is going to be the only one of her coven to realise the gravity of the Underworld being 'headless' thanks to her premonitions. She just doesn't know where she is going to get implicated in...

Apperance: He wears long black baggy pants made of thin material. He wears a gun metal black unbuttoned shirt with tribal decorations on the sleaves. he wears a white t-shirt with black cross in the middle with 2 guns on it. His hair is a light shade of gret and 5 inches long. His eyes are also grey and have a bird look to them. 2 large wings with rune symbols on them. His fingers have large claws on them.
Personality: Calm, tough, witty... the bad a** budha
Primary Weapon:A large spear endowed with fire, which he calls infernus.
Secondary Weapon: He uses his claws as weapons, they are dubbed the talos talons. They are extremely durable and are endowed with the ability to electrocute beings. Veras can use both the spear and his claws at the same time during battles.
Ranged Weapons: 2 custom pistols designed to withstand any amount of stress, and fire many different types of shells without breaking down. The guns have custom shells that can fire different bullets such as hollow point, bullets that explode on impact, blessed bullets, shotgun shells, ect. They are called Inferno, and Paradise
Secondary Ranged Weapon:His wings have steel feathers which he can use as projectiles. they are the talos feathers.
Secondary Form: allen angel mode: His wings and claws grow bigger, he grows horns, can move faster, is stronger, his senses highten, as well as both of melee weapon's abilities.
Skills: use his wings for sheilding, flying, and as a weapon
Background: Veras Gunn was found on the steps of a large church laying covered in blood next to his mother's lifeless body. Dead bodies lay around him and his mother wielding many weapons in thier lifeless hands. The priest living at the church looked down at the massacre. As he was walking through the lifeless bodies he saw that veras was bleeding from where his wings where, but only passed out from fighting off his persuers. The priest took in the veras and taught him the ways of the church. Many of the people that went to the church were disgusted that the priest was taking care of a demon child, others embraced it. Mercenaries, bounty hunters, soldiers, and other warriors that sought forgiveness taught him skills that would be useful in fighting off people and creatures that wished him dead. He had often heard of the legendary demon mercenary Dante, and his lineage; he strived to be stronger than them. On one night the church was attacked by a group of demons lead by a female. Veras fought of the demons as much as he could, but the people that sought refuge in the church were murdered by a strong demon with a flaming spear. Veras' anger took control of him. he destroyed the remaining demons and fought the large demon. The demon was winning, veras's death seemed iminent. Veras saw the people that had become dear to him over the years, and then remember his mother's death. He snapped. Large wings sprouted from his back, his claws grew, and horns grew from his head. His body lifted off the ground and he grabbed a large steel cross the laid near him. He burst forward with enormous speed and slammed the steel cross into the demon's skull, making it drop the spear and launching it back against a wall. Veras dropped the now destroyed steel cross and walked towards he demon. It threw it's head up and jumped to it's feet. The disoriented demon ran towards what he believed to be the pike. Veras threw it's hand out and summoned the spear towards him, then threw the spear at the demon's head. The demon's decapitated head was skewed on the spear and stuck to the wall. The female clapped and said somethings that veras couldn't understand. She attacked veras with an electrical blast that knocked veras unconsious. When he awoke the female was gone, and most of the church and the bodies had been burnt beyond recognition. He looked around and saw that the spear was still stuck in the wall, but the head of the demon and it's body were gone. Veras took the spear and went to a room that he hoped was barely untouched. He picked up his favorite pistols and left the church. He started taking up bounties and mercenary jobs that involved the demon world in hope of finding the electrical lady and her hoard of demons.

I'd be willing to be dante(of course who wouldn't) But hey I have a bone to pick with your story(sorry sweatdrop ) Umm you know how you said Mundus is gone, I don't think that's right. I mean since mundus is the devil he is immortal. Sparda destroyed him and he came back, then after 2000 years Mundus pops up and Dante destroys him again. I think(this is based on the fact that mundus didn't even complain when he was waist high in lava, and when he was just veins and eyeballs) that mundus always exists and cannot be completely eradicated. He could be a pair of eyeballs and still come back. I just think it takes him a long time to heal(considering he's so big), and to be get to earth he needs humans or demons to summon him in the right spot(mallet island, teminigru). 3nodding

Kai had more potential than bolverk, even he knew that, especialy with kai's natural born ability to control gravity, he trained kai to manipulate and eventually control this ability at the age of 15, a year before his battle with dante. but ever since Bolverk had fought with dante, he came back wounded and eventualy died. shortly after, kai's mother, Ericka, had died. Kai now seeks out his revenge against dante, and has joined the Demons to find and kill him... ka

Background: Served under Mundus as a "Demonic Ninja". has vendetta against his older sister who "betrayed" Mundus.

Personality: is kind of hyper. she attempts to be friendly for the most part but is really bad at it being that she's a demon. she doesn't really uderstand human interaction so she ends up seeming innocent yet evil.

Skills: can do lots of things with demonic powers but mostly uses pysical attacks. favorite "magical" attack is to channel electric energy through the entire floor so it electricute anyone standing on it except her.
Background: Divus's older sister. Ex-demonic general who served under Mundus until she was "kicked out" of hell for killing a good forth of the demonic army for fun. Mundus banished her to the human world hopeing a demon hunter would take her out. uses her powers to disguise herself as a human. she became a demon hunter of sorts to get revenge on her own kind for forsaking her. loves her little brother but likes to torture him. mrgreen
