As the night wore on, McHugh's began to feel restless. His shop had been closed for sometime and everybody was sleeping...everyone exept thieves. They never slept, always dealing their trade even into the dead of night. Especially in the dead of night. McHugh's had to keep constant watch or else a cunning thief would steal the secrets of the tea... The most dreaded of things.
A Teamaker must be ready to defend the tea with his life and if its secrets fell into the poor's hands...well...the end for the rich would be near....
As McHugh's thought this.... he dozed off to dreamland

The Royal Dragon was sleepy, but had to find a customer. He was so hungry... If he could just find someone to trade this container for food. That'd be great. He wasn't even hoping to find a teamakers anymore. He'd just have to scavenge something to sell to one of them later.
Dragon used trading as a way into the teamakers' nests, so he could steal from them. He liked to think of it as him helping them help a pidge in need...

Just as McHugh's was falling asleep, a train rumbled by and woke him up. The male groaned and stood as he pulled his feathers into a presentable manner. He could never look less than excellent. The rumbling stopped as the train moved on.
A light flapping caught his attention as he walked to the edge of the grotto and looked down into the dark below. He looked up and turned his attention towards the flapping noise. He caught sight of a foggy male flying through the air. McHugh's looked at the male for a moment. "Hello sir. How your night be, now?" He called out

Dragon looked down and smiled. A client, maybe? Yeah. He looked rich. And Royal could smell the tea leaves... He swooped down and landed in the pidge's nest, careful not to hurt the square container he'd found. Humans would know it as a case for an old gameboy color game, but all Royal knew was that it looked very interesting, though it was awkward to carry in his foot. "It's a fine eve, sir. Nice and brisk."

Mchugh's glanced suspiciosly at the male, but it quickly changed to wonder as he noticed the odd box in the pidge's foot. He tried vainly to stop his exitment from showing, but he couldn't stop a smile from crossing his lips.
"I agree. A wonderful night. The Moon shines brightly, does it not?" He said as he motioned with his wing out the window behind him. He glanced again at the box again.
I could get me some more teas from Happy Hour with this... he mused in his head.
He looked at the ragged male and thought for sure he was lower class. He scoffed at this, for a pidge is a pidge is a pidge, rich or poor.
"What Youre name, stranger?"

Royal looked out the window of the train station. It was a cush thing, to have a nest right by a window. They were hard to come by. "It does..." He followed the rich pidge's eyes. Ah, so he saw his box. It made Dragon smile. He was glad he'd preened himself a little before coming across the tracks. He knew he still didn't look as prim as the teamakers, but at least he didn't look like he'd rolled around in the soot of the tracks. His feather's were white and his neckband was visible. That tended to help the conversation go smoothly between him and the rich pidges... 'Course, that was mostly because he wanted to see Fancy later. Since, he was on this side anyway... But, no need to get sidetracked! He mentally pushed thoughts of her away. He had to concentrate on what he was doing...
"You can call me Dragon... I notice you seem to be interested in my box, sir. I'm looking to get rid of it... If you'd like to trade..?"

The young teamaker looked at the box with envious eyes. It was nice and he could use it to store leaves. Well maybe he'd consider it...yes he'd consider it.
"Possibly...But alas....I have nothin to give you" he said slyly as he tried to show he was poor...vainly. This male did not look like a fool. He looked clever, cunning and smart. Quite the opposite of a fool. There was no way he would fall for it. But it was worth a shot.

"Is that right?" Royal asked skeptically. Jerk. Trying to swindle him out of his box? Well, then, this guy wasn't worth his time. There was not way he was poor. Lived on the wrong side of the tracks... And, besides. The whole nest was a neat little trick. No way he was buying such a blatant lie. He turned around and made for the edge of the nest. "Well, if you can't pay me, I can't afford to chitchat. Since you're so poor," He said poor with unveiled skepticism and distaste. Stupid liar... "You must know that my kind of folk can't afford to just hang around with an empty stomach. I've gotta find a client." He spread his wings, about to leave.

"NO WAIT!!!" Mchugh's shrieked as he jumped in front of Dragon. He was desprete. He wanted that box.
"Food, thats all you want?" He stammered with a nervous chuckle. He atempted to play it cool, but failed abysmlly.
"If you wanted food, you could've asked. Here now, come into my nest" He stuttered as he motion towards the grotto. He dashed in and grabbed three seed sacks and held them up for the scavanger to see.
"Are these enough? Do you want more for your friends. I have three more!!" he jerked with a nevous smile.

"I thought you said you were poor." Dragon had a sly smirk on. He walked into the nest again and showed him the box. "I want six bags... And if you could give me an empty bag. I need one." He said simply. He just seemed to want to get his food and get out of there.

As he saw that there was hope, McHugh's calmed down from his nevous jitter. He looked at the box again and handed the scavanger the sacks
"Here you go," He said with a smile, "I regret to say that I don't have any empty sacks, but if you join me for tea, I can give a sack after we use it up?" he stated as he grabbed a large sack filled with tea leaves. He looked at Dragon and smiled. "If you want to bring a friend or an associate, your'e more than welcome. I would call my associate, but he is out sick and I would be sorry if I exposed you to the bug"

((How does he have an associate..?))
Dragon shook his head. "I don't like tea," he said with a bit of an annoyed tone. No one from his side of the tracks did. Why should they? While these rich folks got wealthy off of tea leaves, they starved.
