Jason walked into the library looking for the librarian. He currently needed to find a way to charm or jinx the pus out of a bubotuber because he was too afraid he'd blow up the poor plant. He came up to the librarian's desk and finding no one there began searching the library for her. "Hello? Anyone here?" he called his shouts echoing off the library's walls. Strange. Why isn't the library jam packed like usual?

Mordrana straightened stiffly from her position behind the desk. She had been crouched below sight, searching for the quill she usually kept in the top drawer, left side, point facing out. It wasn't like her to misplace things. She patted her tightly wound black up-do and peered at the boy shouting into the sanctity of the quiet room. She cleared her throat roughly. "What is it you are trying to accomplish?" She abhored shouting.

Jason jumped at the sound of the librarian's voice. "Sorry mamn I didn't see you there." He tried to think of the book he was looking for again." Miss Mordrana Do you know where Spells for the Unknowing Gardener is? I need to find a spell that would help remove the pus from a bubotuber without the user being burned or anything."

Mordrana reached into her mind, going through the rows to find the book. She swept out from behind the desk, and made her way down the aisle to her left. She made a vague hand gesture behind her back, meaning for the boy to follow her. Weaving through the rows of books, Mordrana finally stopped in front of a shelf covered in a greenish moss. From the top of the shelf, large green leaves hung, obscuring most of the book titles. Reaching inside, Mordrana pulled her hand back, with the Unknown Gardener in tow. "Chapter Five if I'm not mistaken Mister.." She peered down at him. "Tawny. And I'm rarely mistaken." Handing the book over to him, Mordrana gave him a last look, her deep blue eyes humerous, betraying her stoic face. "And for the future, it will be Madam Drews, Mister Tawny."

Thank you Miss... I mean Madame Drews." He tried to wave it off with a sheepish smile but quickly put the book in his bag and took his leave.Oh geez I forgot they like their titles here. Madame Drews.... Madame Drews... he thought nearly colliding with a bookcase as he turned to leave. As he nearly tripped over his own feet again seeming to gravitate towards a shelf he said to the librarian." Sorry!"

Mordrana watched as the boy stumbled over himself and made a lunge towards him. Grabbing at his elbow, gently but firmly, she set the boy right. Whew. If he had hit the bookcase, he would have knocked down Mordrana's favorite plant book, The Man Eating Mudwungus and Me, which either would have knocked him unconcious, or gnawed his face off, depending on which way it was facing as it fell. Mordrana released Jason, and gently tucked the precariously perched book farther back onto the shelf. Smothering a smile, she attempted to remain stern and said, "Just, have it back when you're finished Mr. Tawny, and please, be careful."

Leila walked through the halls and arrived in front of the Library, her destination. She walked through the doors, ignoring the people who turned to see who came in. She walked through the shelves until she found the one she came in for. She headed to the culture section of the library, where all the books about the world's culture are at. She looked through the shelves and went looking for any book really to take off the dusty shelves to read for joy. It has been a while since she had done that, reading for joy. She found a book called "Daylight to the Underground". It was a book about vampires that were driven underground in Europe and how they had survived. She took the book out and went to the comfortable arm chairs to the side of the library to take a seat and start to read. She curled up into a ball and read to her delight.

Leila looked out the window and noticed how dark it was. She quickly checked her pocket watch, starting to worry about the time. She saw that it was nearing curfew and she was very far from her common room. She grabbed what was hers and speed walk to the librarian's desk. She had to pick up the book the next day instead of borrowing the book then. She had only around 10 minutes to get back to her common rooms before getting caught outside during curfew. She could have just cast a disillusion charm over herself but that would take too much work. It was just better to get downstairs quickly. She left the book on the counter and walked out the library and into the halls, hurrying back to her rooms.

Morgana brought her head up to watch the girl leaving. At least she had been quiet. She reached below her desk, to where the return books were left. She would have to refile them where they belonged. Not that she minded of course. It helped keep her busy, and having everything in place was something she took great pride in.

Sitting at a table silently in the very large Library, with a book in hand and a few piled on the table in front of her, sat Ayame Kurosaki. The Kind and Gentle dark-haired female from the Ravenclaw House. She had been in the Library since classes ended and had continuously been caught up in various books, sometimes looking up to see what was going on around her.
------
Another female, this time of the Hufflepuff House, was also in the Library and she was very well known. She was the Funny and Adventurous Amelia "Mia" Graham. Resident prankster and mischeif-maker extrodinaire. The red-head was busy reading one of her handy-dandy joke/pranks books, giggling at some points when she found a rather interesting joke or prank. Perhaps she would try one of these out one day. Oh boy. Wouldn't that be a fun day...
