I'm interested to see just who everyone liked better as a singer for Malice Mizer. Gackt is not in the poll because it is most commonly agreed upon that he brought Malice Mizer to their peek and their most well-known and creative songs were from his era as vocalist.
So, who was better? Or, Who do you like better? Tetsu or Klaha?

*Personal Opinion*
I will take Testu over Klaha anyday. I am an avid Klaha hater. I do not like the sound of his voice, he can not keep his voice steady when he sings lower notes (he's even worse live), and his stage pressence is horrid. All he does (even in PVs) is just move his hands. It looks like bad "spirit fingers". I also think that Malice Mizer's sound became rather bland and poppy with Klaha. All the songs have the same melodic structure and they just basically sound the same.
Granted, Tetsu had major pitch issues and his voice did not blend well with he group, but I like him so much more than Klaha. Tetsu actually sounds good with his new band 8ball. ^_^

I dunno, since my first Malice Mizer song was a song where Klaha was the vocalist, I'm very fond of him.
My second song was when Tetsu was the singer...and I thought my ears were going to bleed XP
I only really like one MM song where Tetsu was the vocalist...the rest Where Gackt and Klaha were singing were the best...

klaha. i think tetsu was some what scary visually and not as fun. klaha also sounds better. when tetsu sang it kinda sounded like he was joking. klaha is more soothing , i guess, to listen to.

I heard them on web radio.... x.x... anywhoot, Klaha's job isn't to have good stage presence, it's to sing (reminds me of the time I was watching 'making the band, and p-diddy told these girls,"How are you going to make it in the music buisiness if you can't dance?".... See the contradiction which makes that statement a moronic one?). And his 'not keeping his voice stable' is called verbrato, and it's something not all singers are talented enough to have genuinely, like he does... And anyway, Malice Mizer's sound got darker and more gothic (especially compared to the Gackt erra x.x) in the Klaha erra *points at Beast of blood to show the darker sound, and more light-hearted Gardenia to show that their sound wasn't all similar, because those two songs alone sound nothing alike*.

He should still have presence in lives and he does not. Klaha uses good vibrato in his higher register, but that is not vibrato in his lower register. It is very easy to get vibrato confused with unsteadiness but I can diffinately say that his voice waviers unsteadily on his lower notes. I know Gardenia and Beast of Blood sound different but that's the only major difference of their sound during the Klaha era.

Lots of other people don't think being a good actor is as essential when you're a singer. And really what is the difference between virbrato and having a voice that sounds 'unsteady'? If you think about it, that's all virbrato is, a fluctuation in the pitch of a note... And I've NEVER really heard MM songs that were upbeat and poppy..>>

I don't really think 'Gackt is a given' is appropriate. Just because he was the most popular after MM doesn't mean he was the most talented... I happened to think Klaha is better than gackt as well... neutral
