Another fun MMORPG (for those who like MMORPGs, at least,) and from a company I had abandoned all hope for: NtreeV. And it's somewhat different.

This game's a side-view platformer with SDed anime characters fighting monsters... So far, it sound like MapleStory, right? Well, the difference here is that the world of this game's divided in many dungeons, but you make a 'room' to play in each of those zones, and you can either team up with other players or go for it alone.

Each dungeon's divided in several stages, and has four different skill levels (making the replay value higher, and their 'life' longer as you need higher levels to take on the highest skills) and there's a boss monster at the end of each of them. The game's also got a plot, and you are not given classes to choose from, like in other games. Nope, you control a female knight, female archer and female mage at first, and can (once your characters are high level) unlock other characters with different classes through missions.

The fun thing about all this: Each map can be played by any of your three starting heroes, but here's the thing: Not all of them have the same strategies to beat a map, and getting to know all the ways each of them has to deal with each kind of monster can be tricky... And, of course, some of them have it easier against some bosses.

Your characters (and the mobs) have special skills only useable with MP (which charges up when you hit foes, or in the case of mages, it charges up when you stand still,) and once unleashed, anything near you (or far, for mages) is going to feel some real pain.

You may be wondering about gear, items and all that stuff... You buy that with gold, crystals or other kind of valuables, and unlike other "free to play unless you want to have decent gear" games, there's not that much a difference between the 'cash' gear and the normal one. Also, some of the 'cash' gear can be obtained through missions (with a time limit, though, but a 3 to 15 days time limit, good enough to get past said gear's level range.)

The PvPing is where this game lacks greatly. Unless you're a real expert, beating some of the unlockable characters with your three starters is nigh impossible. Also, most players don't bother with PvPing except for some missions with good rewards (beat X players at PvP to get a crapload of potions, for example,) so if you're thinking of joining this for it's PvP value, be warned it's got no value there. (Also, expert mages beat any other class. They can spam spells.)

I'll give this one a 9/10, if only because the 18-20 exp curve is a bit too steep IMO. Not substracting points for bad PvP, because to me PvPing is a waste of programming time.
