The History

The Order of Lei'ko


The Order of Lei'ko are not only his most trusted followers who work hard to gain they rank and power they have, but also are great warriors and known for only being out-cruelled by Lei'ko himself.

The Priest and Priestess are Lei'ko's right-hands. A small part of their work is to act as advisors to him, however they are often used a public front and are very much feared among the people. The two are held in a careful balance between perfect collaboration with one another and a immortal battle to gain more power than the other. This is not a position for any but the strongest of will and mind.

Below them are two Monks and two Maidens of the temple. They are responsible for the temple itself, they are often the ones seen in the temple when visitors come. When a sacrifice is brought, or a festival is held, the Monks and Maidens are the active hands and voices for the temple. They are devote scholars along with their physical feats. Often they trained from early childhood by the current Monks or Maidens. When a Priest or Priestess looses his or her life or status, a Monk or Maiden is normally chosen to take it. Often a Monk or Maiden will try to undermine the Priest or Priestess out of his or her rank (or life) to gain that position. Lei'ko in fact, seems to approve of those who plot and scheme for the goal of power gain.

Finally, there is the Council of Five. Consisting of an uneven balance of genders, the Council of Five meets twice a year on Fall and Spring Equinoxes they advise and discuss with Lei'ko on any plans he may want to implement. In the ancient of times it was often seen as the planners of oppression, or an initial war council. The Council can change faces every year, or stay the same for several based on how pleased Lei'ko is with the individual members.
