Meaning of name: Kurai is a Japanese word meaning : dark; gloomy; dark (in color); dull; depressed; dispirited; sorrowful; bitter (as in a dark past); unclear; unfamiliar; unknown.

Background: Kurai was once a member of the Lavas Tribe. He fell in love with a beautiful young girl, only to discover that he had a rival for her affections. As would be expected in a tribe that values combative skills, a duel was held between the two rivals to decide who could court the little lady. 
Kurai won the duel, but was heavily wounded in the battle. As he lay bleeding on the field, he expected his beloved to run to him and comfort him. However, he could watch as she ran to aid his rival.
Kurai was crushed. His warrior's spirit was killed and his heart bleed more than his body. In depression, he left the Lavas Tribe to wander the world, hoping to heal his broken heart.
Description: Kurai is very humble and quiet. He walks with a slight limp due to his heavily scarred body and carries a deep sadness within his heart. He is patient and understanding when talking with others, but prefers being alone. Underneath it all, he wishes to find one who can heal his heart. More will be added here as he RPs.
Breeding: Open (Kurai is probably straight, but a good RP can convince him otherwise.)
