We want to hear what YOU Have to say! Anything you'd like to see fixed and updated? Rules feel free to "Petition" for certain things Please no flaming, but real critiques Support your reasons for changing something Bad post example Redraw adult Chi'lin because the current ones suck horribly GOOD post example I believe the Adult male Chi'lin should be redrawn -- the line art style doesn't fit with the rest of the sandpainters, nor does the shading. On top of that, the legs look "off" and the poses are hard to work with markings and edits into the customs.

}~{Wow, I can't believe I'm the first to post in this 0__o}~{
#1: I think the tail of the Female Pan'lun teen should be touched up a little. The rest of the lineart is splendid, but I believe the tail wobbles a little bit, and, while it is minor, touching it up would make the image even better
#2: I think it would be really really cool to see the magic system up and running sometime. I remember Mind making a post a long time ago, about almost having it done, but I can't recall anything since then. I think it is a spectacular idea, because it would give people who RP a lot more benefeits, and give people more of an idea of what their painters abilities are, rather than just breathing fire as is the norm.
#3: An established breeding and customs system? At this time, other than contests and bribes, I haven't seen a way to secure a custom slot (Or a breeding slot). I know some people are comfortable with PMing the mule and trying to work out a bribe, but, though I myself have done that before, I feel a little uncomfortable, and I'm sure at least one other person in thread does to. I think it would be nice to have some sort of system, be it flaffle or whatnot, once a month or once every two months, or whatever the artists feel comfortable with. The shop is over a year old, is excellent, and has a lot of loyal threadgoers, but I think having an established breeding/custom system would help to make it even more proffesional/streamlined.
#4: This isn't a suggestion really, but more of a comment. I know I myself particularly enjoy these little holiday flaffles and RP contests etc. they bring a lot of fun into the thread, and the idea of a RP contest for a breeding slot is fantastic, from my point of view. Keep up the good work with that kind of stuff! It's really enjoyable.
}~{Okay, that is all. Thank you for your time heart }~{

Something I've been wanting to see for a long time is the item shop. I know you guys had some item previews posted and ever since I saw them I've really wanted to buy some for my painter. I think it would be a great way to provide even more customization for people to get as creative as they want. If workload is a problem, you could always hire people specifically for adding items and recerting.
I agree with Tyia in that magic would be great! It'd create a very intresting battle system.
Lastly, I'd like to see proffessions available to Sandpainters. I've always wanted to officially make my painter a priestess of Kahlidah. I would really love to see jobs open to sandpainter owners so if you were to set up that set up that system I'd appreciate it a whole lot!

}~{Ooh! I agree with Blind. It'd be really awesome to have proffessions started for painters. I know it'd be fun to have Zephy be a teacher, or a mage for hire or something. Plus, I think it would give more development and insight into the painter culture heart }~{

}~{Another idea! On the front page of the thread, it says approximately how tall the painters are. I think it would be nice to have it added how long they are as well, from nose to tail. And also how big the baby and teen stages are. For roleplay purposes heart }~{

Good evening, loves, I'd like to suggest that the certs include a date of birth of some sort on them. It would make it easier to keep track of the ages and such of each painter.

Hello there!
I'd like to see maybe some form of a singles/ matchmaking thread for roleplay and breeding purposes. Sort of like the singles dating services thread around Valentine's Day, year round. I thought it was a fun idea and it was nice to be able to look through all the painters and what they were looking for in a fling or mate.

Avid_RPer18 Hello there! I'd like to see maybe some form of a singles/ matchmaking thread for roleplay and breeding purposes. I agree it was a good event, but I dont think people understand how much really goes into a breeding from the artists view. Each painter has 4 stages, and there are at least 2 eggs per breeding, sometimes 6! So at minimum there are 8 stages (max 24) to color all for about 20k which is the breeding fee. Of course sometimes, but rarely, there are exceptions.
So that on top of even the regular breedings, not even just the single match-ups, the artists would have to have a lot more time than we already have when most of what we are putting out are breedings already.
I guess what Im trying to say is, its a good idea... but not for year round. Maybe two times a year.
Plus, we have a plot page for people to post such information already :3

Though we MAY put a "Personals" Thread up in the plots forum so people can post stuff about their Sandpainters and be able to find those with likes and dislikes of a similar sort, not necessarily for breeding. And PERHAPS a secondary site where staff occationally wander through and post Sandpainters who's personalities they think blend best for RP when they are really bored.

}~{Hrm, I'm not sure whether to categorize this as a question or pose it as a suggestion. I was wondering if Sandpaints was ever going to do any RL commisions. I know a lot of shops do it, and it seems to go over well, and it seems like a good option for people who don't have a whole lot of Gold, but still want another way to get a painter. I realize there's a lot of other thought that'd have to go into it though. So I guess this was more of a question than anything; just wondering if there will ever be the possibility of RL comissions in the future whee }~{
