There are a few main things that you need to keep in mind while fighting with other players, and the occassional NPC.

- NO GOD MODDING...jeez..

- You must respect your opponents' level. Do not expect to defeat a level 10 player at level 2. Think of the ancient days of Pokemon. : ) Brocks' Onix was killer if you attempted to take him on with your low level Charmander. Similarly, just because you land a hit on that level 10 opponent does not mean that you did severe damage.

- This next point is relevant to the previous one, but important enough to make it a seperate bullet. Be mature, and realize that it is possible for you to lose. In this RP, every character isnt some mysterious demon wizard who doesn't reveal their powers until theyre being outwitted, and then can suddenly unleash magic spells that can't be beaten.

POSSIBLY THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF COMBAT, SO IMPORTANT THAT IM WRITING IT IN CAPS AND UNDERLINING IT. MAYBE YOU SHOULD READ THIS PART

Each time you attack someone, you will roll a 20 sided die, with the roll dice function that posting offers. This will serve as the deciding factor of whether or not your attack will hit.

Universally, if you roll above a 10 you will hit your opponent. This means that by default, you have a 50 percent chance of hitting your enemy. But do not fret!! Your level (as follows) will give you bonuses to your roll.

(Will update if needed)
Levels 1-3 = +1 to roll
Levels 4-5 = + 2 to roll
Levels 6-10= +4 to roll
Levels 11-15 = + 5 to roll
Levels 16-20 = You shall see biggrin

Items may raise your chance to hit as well.
It will be up to your opponent to tell whether or not you hit in their post.
In example:
Assume that I roll a 9 as a level 4 character. My opponent would then see my post, and roll. It is his duty to read my level that is posted in my sig, and add the appropriate level bonus to the roll. In this case, it is 2, meaning that I have a grand total of 11. This grants me a hit! Woot! In my opponents next post, he must incorporate my hit. There are tons of way to this, such as posting " Aurion flew back against the wall from the power of Brynthons kick." . My opponent would then continue on with the rest of their post, and their move.
