Nugget and Skull Vice Captain

This topic is for discussion about Dream Den and other tough sub levels.(And by tough I mean tough,not easy because you play 24/7 and think everyone else sucks.)
For me the toughest part about Dream Den is the initial struggle to get to the bottom.I always try to get all the treasures in each cave and have minimal Pikmin losses so you can imagine what it's like when you don't expect a bomb to drop in your largest group of disbanded Pikmin.
The Titan Dweevil is tough but once at least two of his weapons are gone he becomes easy(for me.)My best bet is to take out the electrical one first,though...
My best fight again the Dweevil was when I only lost 1 Pikmin to him.I was like,'Wow...'Then I got the treasures and went home.Anyways,what's your beef?...cheese?...soy cheese if you're lactose intolerant?

yeah i found that dungeon the most challenging, not cause of the puzzles, but just cause it is so long, what was it 14, 16 floors before the final boss?

realmcutter yeah i found that dungeon the most challenging, not cause of the puzzles, but just cause it is so long, what was it 14, 16 floors before the final boss? I'm pretty sure it was 14. I know it had the most sublevels save Hole of Heroes, and that hole had 15. I've always found it best to get rid of the faucet first, personally. You can avoid the other attacks if you're quick, but the water drops go all over the area and will hit any pikmin I'm not paying attention to at the moment.

I found the hardest sub-level to be one that is nearly completely covered in water, leaving you guide all 70-something of your Pik-piks across a small root to the land...ugh. -_-

yes that was a hilarious sublevel. I would kill everything in that was in my way then i would go to the strait spliting the room in half, then i woild put louie on the other side. Then i would have olimar throw about ten of them into the water and have louie call them from the other side, forcing them to swim across. Its seems the longer pikmin swim the faster they go and closer they get to dying. But it works though xd 3nodding

when i go in any cave i try to get no pikmin to die. if 1 pikmin dies i restart my gamecube. i have one tresher thingy left i havnt finished the game yet. its the giant weight on last area.so do you have any tips for me

I thought Submerged Castle was real difficult, because of Water Wraith.

is that the one where Louie is sitting on the giant spider robot? if so i didnt really have TOO much trouble, maybe a few restarts from olimar and bossman deaths but thats it... well that was just getting to the spider
the giant spider is where i got stuck forever on pikmin 2, i NEVER passed that part

The first time i fought him i didn't know what to do till i checked on Gamefaqs rofl , after a few unsucessful tries i finally beat him without substantial losses. But what was more difficult was going back in a different file and beating him without any potions/sprays.

No matter how hard I try I always end up with stray pikmin just stupidly standing around just begging to die.

I always take out the electric mine generator since its the only thing that instant kills my pikmin, but i guess from now on i should take out the water faucet 2nd.
