Good evening (its 9:20 pm here in Houston). In April, Anime Matsuri, one of the biggest conventions around here will be holding a Lolita based "shop" in the dealer's room. However, earlier in my research for smart shopping, I believe this person was put on (I guess?) the black list of buyers. http://www.ladyheathersfashions.net/I remember hearing (reading) rumors and information about this woman's dresses being of poor quality and too expensive. If this true, or am I worried about nothing?

Just looking at the page in question, I can tell you her own stuff's not worth the asking prices.
Cheap lace, far too long in the skirts, unlined garments, 100% cotton broadcloth [wrinkles when not lined like a b***h because of light weight], use of satin ribbons and materials.
Some of the pieces look like she bought F+F replicas to resell, however. Those may be safe, but you'd have to see them in person as F+F tends to make things REALLY long and unlined.

I agree, it doesn't look very promising. <.<
But, I wanted a second opinion, considering that it is suppose to be "hand-made".
*sigh* It's kinda depressing, though. ._.

Sweet lord, my eyes.
You can easilyyyyy get a good outfit from seamstresses here on the internet, if you are familiar with buying from online. There's people like Cyrin as well as other seamstresses on Livejournal who can give you more quality handmade products for less than that price.

wow... she came to a convention near me... i-con in ny... if i am remembering her well enough, the "shop" had a few very small lolithings. all way expensive for the quality. Not that the quality was sooo bad... but not good enough for what she was charging.

I just love her potion bottles (from looking at them). So that's what I'd think about buying from her if I happened to be in the States for a convention she was at.

Just avoid buying from her?
It's not really a "problem" for her to be there, from what I can see. She's obviously reselling F+F clothes, from what I can see, but that's not a crime or anything. I don't even see her claiming to have made them. Everything seems phrased vague enough to read that if you wanted to, but not enough to incriminate her if someone points out what she's doing.
