Once upon a tree
Just outside the club
Of stars that burn
brightest at night
Lay the forest of Destiny
Just step around the back
And take the first alley street
And suddenly
Quite suddenly
You'll fall across
Vast fields of trees
They twist and tangle
With the wind
And whistle when you walk by
They'll wind around you
If you stand still too long
And they'll find you
If you try to hide
Creatures not so tame
Lurk amongst the highest topped branches
And throughout the lowest roots
Nigh be safe
be alone or not
In Destiny's Forest

Dare you enter?
Dare you stay?
Dare you bother
to head the warning carved into the trees?
Do what you want
But they are unforgiving here

So dare you enter Destiny's forest? Creatures lurk there, no matter when you go, where you look. They'll be looking back. So are you going to go in? Will you have the guts to?
I hope not... You may not come out...
Not human, anyway...

Raven slammed against the tree and growled in furry before getting back on all fours. The small wolf was beyond pissed with the other female wolf she was fighting. The other wolf pushed her too far and tried to kick her out of the forest. Raven charged at the silver wolf and lunged at her neck trying to get a good grip but the other female was bigger and stronger and knocked her off easily by swiping her powerful paw at Raven's shoulder blade. Raven backed off and whimpered before baring her teeth at the wolf. She knew if she didn't come up with a plan she would lose this fight. Before she could lung at the other wolf another howl was heard and Raven snapped her head to the right staring down the black wolf but quickly realized it was a male. Without warning Raven turned and ran as fast as she could to get away from the male terrified out of her mind. When she finally collapsed she turned back into her human form and groaned looking down at her ripped and bloody close. Laying there Raven tried to gain her strength to heal herself.

a dark hand reached out and touched her forehead with 2 fingers pulsing her full of a white lingering magick offering her what she struggled to claim back in herself. his fingers were thick as if he was a blacksmith and a skilled fighter. he moved away some allowing her space and flipped out of teh tree landing in a squat position facing her he moved to let his hood fall back from his face. there were deep scars across his face, the most striking of one was the one over his left eye in the shape of a creasent moon. a silver hoop hung from his right ear, small enough that it couldnt be used against him in a fight. his shadow covered eyes looked at her and asked her in a gruff voice, "are you alright now?"

Raven screamed out in surprise and fear as a hand touched her and she snapped her eyes closed. She want to push it away but felt a strange feeling run threw her frail body and her eyes snapped open in shock. Her body was healing itself but that was not why she was shocked. A male was the one who was with her. Her body began to tremble and she started to bite her lip drawing blood and she scooted back not knowing what to do. Raven was in so position to run from him. Taking in his appearance she looked away afraid and almost started to cry. Her deep rooted fear of men kicked in. "I-i a-a-am f-ine! T-hanks." Raven said her voice barely audible and laced with fear as she tried not to scream and cry.

a female appeared on his other side smoothly cutting off her escape. she purred "he doesnt bite lovie i have him trained better than that. i am dark o'maria. and that wonderous hunk of man there is nathanal, my friend and former partner."
nathanal gave her a rare glimpse at a smile that matched his hidden laughter lines around his face "really i mean you no harm, i didnt mean to scare you but i cnt stand to see a female in pain"
dark smiles at her, her smile had hidden threats in it but they were sealed for the moment "aye hes a push over, what happened that made you run so fast from ur fight?"

Her body relaxed some as a female appeared but she still watched the man carefully. Standing up she brushed herself off and stepped further away from the woman. Her eyes darted around looking for an escape but she found none. "I'm Raven." She said quietly looking down. Taking in his words she thought it over and frowned. "Um.....a m-aa-le stepped in." Raven stuttered out uncomfortably.

"raven", dark purrs dangeriously growing an idea on her tongue, "you should take a second into a fight not just stand there and take off. most fights like that are continued on a later date because of resentment from the other." her dark eyes grew brooding over something
"dont you be getting her into no trouble dark. it wasnt so long ago i got your near dead shaved skin from that well. youre in no condition to be pickin no fights" nathanal settles his back against the tree offering her an escape if she wants it, he lazily put his arms behind his head and streched his legs out watching the 2 of them after giving dark a warning look
dark glares at him setting back on her heels balancing her arms on her knees "im not saying I should get involved. im saying she shouldnt leave fights liek that unfinished." she looks at raven face blank "what have you against males anyway. you act liek nathanal is gonna eat you any moment"

Raven bit her lip nervously. She was very shy and wasn't one for too much talking and something about this Dark girl's nature made her want to be careful. She seemed dangerous.
Her eyes followed Nathanal's movements and fidgeted again and turned her gaze away as he stretched out. Looking down again she sighed. "I was fighting her but he stepped in. She is bigger and stronger then me, it wasn't fair to start with and then he stepped in." Raven said thinking about what Dark said. If she ran into that wolf again she hoped she would be left alone.
Her eye's snapped up to Dark's curious face. Could she bring herself to voice her fear of men. Sighing she shook her head. "I have a bad past with men and I.....umm am a-fr-a-a-id of them." Raven admitted blushing from embarrassment.

darks eyes grew darker if that was possible as was her mood, "what was your fight about?" her voice was low and dangerous not directed at raven but in general the idea of an unfair fight seemed to strike a nerve with her
nathanal "a rational fear wolven males arent exactly the kind and gentle type in most cases. nor are most males in general were territory and women are concerned. was the female u were fighting his mate?" nathanal was curious and it was clear he posed no harm to anyone more on the pushover side and peacekeeper than trouble maker

Raven saw the anger in Dark's eyes and she took a deep breath to relax a little but it didn't help much. "Um...I'm not sure. I was just out running and she just attacked me." She whispered sadly. All she was doing was burning off energy and she got attacked, if the female had this territory she would of left.
Looking up at him she nodded but it wasn't that. Her whole life was a mystery to her but as long as she could remember. "Yeah I guess. I'm not really sure, he just came out of nowhere." Tired Raven sat down and sighed running her hands threw her long dark hair.

nathanal kindly taking in her state "im sorry my healings dont enclude fatigue. it would kill me if i healed that too. would you like to stay with us for the night? im sure it would be better than you wondering on your own right now."
dark didnt say anything she was gripping a rope of black and white beads with a wiccan star pressed into her palm tightly

For a long moment Raven was silent thinking about what could happen if she went with them and what would happen if she stayed out here. After all they hadn't made a move to harm her and she needed a place to stay. Biting her lip she nodded shyly. "If it isn't too much trouble." She said looking at Dark to see if it's alright with her.

nathanal "ignore her shes angry. ill tell you why when we reach teh house." he stood gracefully and wiped the dirt from his butt "as wolves or as people do u wish to make our pace?" he was curious and gently pushed dark so she got to her feet obviously she was deep into herself

Raven nodded standing up. She pulled her long dark hair into a ponytail leaving her bangs in her face. "Um, okay." She nodded. "Alright sure let's go then. I want to get out of here before those wolves show up again." Raven said glancing around.

nathanal hugs her gently then steps away apologizing "sorry...habit...again i dont like seeing females in pain, when we get to the house their might be another male there and a female. their my family they wont harm u they trust my judgement in ppl." dark had already taken off "she scouts ahead to see if everythings clear." nathanal puts his hood up on his cloak and shifted forward listening then he gesured for her to run beside him and he took off as a gray wolf with a single black ear
slowly beside them darting in and out of view was dark as a white wolf with a black tip of her tail and ring around her one eye she protected them from all sides as they made pace
nathanal draws up and changes back droping his hood down and pulls back a weeping willow branch for her to reveal an old looking manor house. the sweeping vine was young yet near the base it gave in to signs of age and built against weathering as did the stone, this building was a safe place against nature. "welcoem to our home. we call it the nobles house but no noble has lived here for centuries i saved it from ruin with my brother."
dark was walking up teh path and touched the night lilys and roses as they bloomed along the path their was a tenderness there for a moment till she walked inside and dark was brooding again
once inside nathanal had her sit in the spacious kitchen as he cooked a meal for her, "my brother and his lady friend arent home yet so dont worry about it they might not show up at all. would you like to hear about dark since she questioned you?" he asked
