Sand and dirt. Doesn't that sound lovely? Oh, and a few twigs called trees. This is outside Las Noches.

Landing in the sand, Havok took a look around and realized he landed in a populated area full of hollows. Frustrated, Havok tapped his hilt and immediately went into his shikai form. "This is going to be such a bother, and for such a silly reason as well. I don't know why the king is making us come all the way out here for something like that." Forming an Aero in his hand, Havok pointed it out at the swarm of hollows running forward. "It is greatly unfortunate that you had to meet up with someone at the caliber in which I am. You could of done so much more with your pathetic existence." With the final word, the Aero shot off and expanded to consume the entire stampede of hollows coming forward. Pushing them off far into the distance, Havok sighed and continued to shunpo forward to reach the Chamber in which he was looking for.

Landing in the sand behind Havok, she set Brady down on his feet. She looked around and shivered. "This place gives me the creeps. Not the fact that there are hollows and espada's here, but the fact it is so... dead." She said, shivering once more. Looking at Brady, she smiled. "Remember to stay calm. I promised I'd protect you and I will." At that moment, she heard some profanity behind her. She turned to see Fuyu land unproperly and started to laugh. "Having troubles there Captain?"

Fuyu sighed. "Never ever mention that or I'll have to kick both your asses." He smiled at them and tested that his feet would not sink with a few jumps. "Well I suppose we really should stay with Havok unless he has other plans for us." He laughed and pushed off the sand with a great amount of force, throwing sand up in a small storm behind him, and if it could cross the portal, probably threw it into Havok's office. 'DAMN!' he thought 'I really am gonna have Havok pissed at this rate.' Using what was about half-way from top speed for him he got to within 10 feet of Havok and then took it down to keep pace with the speed he was using. 'Guess he isn't in a huge hurry since I caught up to him so easily.'

Vyxin walked Fuyu and sighed. I don't know why men have to be so childish sometimes. Thinking this, she still smiled at him. "You already kicked my a** earlier. I think I get my shot at something." She said, giving him a glare and her smile turning into a smirk. "Besides, I'll wait until you aren't around."

Brady dropped to the ground and looked around. "Eh, white doesn't really fit me." He said dusting off his robes. "I'm more of a black person ya know?" He looked around at everybody. He felt so weak, everybody had strong raitsu. For all he knew, he didn't. Just somebody who got lucky enough to end up as a Vice-Captain. "So, when are we rollin' out?"

The air which hung about like a light veil was cool, but for some reason not at all cold. It whiped around the Vice Captain, his hakama rustling softly, stopping only when his sandals touched the pale sand floor. It was as soft a landing as he could have asked for, the sand barely stirring around his presence, landing but a few feet to the side of Havok, who had already began to prepare his attack for the hollows which had begun to bare down upon them, disgusting creatures the lot of them, while they were but the souls of the damned, they were still so...unsightly. Casually reaching down towards his zanpakuto he took hold of his sheathe, there was no need to use his blade upon these creatures, it was enough to crack and destroy their masks with the strength of the sheathe, though as he was preparing to strike, Havok had summoned his power, the wind affiliated shikai that they had both come to know over a vast career alongside one another. It seemed to be a bit premature for his taste, but Havok seemed to be in a hurry, something was getting under his skin and it brought him to rain down upon the beasts power which was far beyond their abilities to resist. Though it was not a show of cruelty, like a child pulling the wings off of a fly, there was no mal intent, just the will to press onwards. All that he had to do now was follow, follow Havok until the mission was complete.
Turning his head he noticed that the others had begun to arrive, Viyxn was holding onto her vice captain, while Fuyu seemed to have bailed on the landing. They were missing Yare, perhaps she had not gone through the portal just yet, or maybe she had a bit of trouble following along with them. He doubted that she would be much longer, but since Havok had already gone ahead he was torn between waiting on his fellow Vice Captain and following after his friend. It seemed that the others were not going anyplace anytime soon, and thus they would be able to wait on Yare, that was of course assuming that she was indeed coming, he doubted that she would try and skip out on a mission like this. Sighing softly he turned back towards the direction which Havok had taken off in, the grand castle and fortress of the Arrancar and the Espada looming in the distance and at the same time, the identity of the person who had so far escaped their memory. It was time to press onwards, no matter how strong Havok had become over time, and no matter how much confidence he held within his heart and mind, there were things that no one could anticipate. And as Havok's vice captain it was his duty to support his captain and his friend, and without much further to do he headed off in the same direction as Havok had, doing his best to make up for lost time.
The hollows which had been so easily tossed aside were returning with surprising fervor, as if the attach which had be dealt to them had instead of making them weary, had only made them hungrier. The sand shook beneath the reverberating rhythm of their feet, paws and hoofs , kicking up a cloud of dust as the words of their lust flooded the air. Taishiji had not time for such nonsense, he had seen these beast when he was but of mortal coil, and now they faced him and his power was beyond that of his past. And while he wished to do away with them as simply and easily as possible, there was no desire in his heart to waste the edge of his blade upon them. It was an odd sentiment that he had developed over time, there were those who deserved to be saved and those who needed to be saved, but in times such as this, when the existence of the hollow had so deeply perverted the souls which resided within it was almost up to question what the right thing to do was anymore. And in this world in which they thrived, to cut down one meant for another to take it's place, purging soul after soul, not knowing how well it would be able to even recognize itself would have been considered a valient effort, but he had neither the time or the patience to deal with it.
As he continued on his way to catch up with his captain, there managed to come into his path a few Hollow, a pain in the neck, nothing more but perhaps something quite a bit less. Reaching to the hilt of his zanpakuto, Taishiji waited for them to come in within his sphere of influence. The clasps which were woven into the hilt of his blade and then further secured by the tsuba were not released from the sheathe, allowing him to pull both sheathe and sword from their resting place in one smooth movement, just what he needed to deal with the minor oncoming threat. Perhaps he wa a bit more patient than Havok when it came to this, he was not about to use his shikai until it was absolutely necessary, and not a moment sooner. The power of his solidified spiritual energy was more than enough to deal with these beasts. And as the first came within range, it's jaws snapping menacingly, Taishiji proved his point. In one smooth movement, Taishiji drew out both sword and sheathe, slashing across his person in a slightly upward arching horizontal path, coming into contact with the bleach bone hollow mask, sending splintered bone and teeth back into it's accursed body. The sheer power of the blow tossing the beast to the side as Taishiji continued his blades path, not allowing it to stop even for a moment, instead giving it even more momentum, more speed and more power.
The second, the third, and even the fourth fell to his sides, not interrupting his stride for even a moment, his focus and his limited ranged of movement allowed for a secrecy to his attacks, the less he telegraphed each blow, the more damage was dealt to the hollows. The idea behind it was that in order to best strike a target with a blunt object, one had to be able to disrupt the internal rhythm of the target, whether they be skilled in hand to hand, swordsmanship and so on, if you could catch the target leaning in, then the blow would be met half way or more realistically depending upon the speed of the target, two thirds of the way to the original intended point of impact, increasing the damage greatly. The Hollows were neither masters of swordmanship, nor were they experts strategists, or did their thoughts trule ever deviate from a pack mentality. It was better this way, if they had anything greater than that, it would have proven a problem to the party when finally left to deal with the true demons which lurked within the great white stone castle. The only solace that Taishiji held within him, was the hopes that those who lived within did not attempt to attack Havok all at once, even those considered to be the best were open at one point or another.

Yare landed in the sand rather awkwardly. She knew what to expect upon arriving but that didn't stop her from sinking in a foot and almost losing her balance. Almost immediately a problem presented itself to her. When Yare wrapped her legs at the beginning of the week, she always allowed her toes plenty of wiggle room. It gave her a better range of motion and accomodated her sandals nicely. Already she felt sand getting between her toes and in the space between her feet and sandals. This could lead to several problems which could render her unable to walk so she began searching for a way to solve the problem. After a moment of quick consideration, she tore off a strip of cloth on her sleeve, slipped off one sandal and lifted the foot to rest a little obove her knee. Yare twsted up almost into a crouch then quickly tied the strip of cloth around her foot like a bandana. Yare repeated the process with the other foot and then tucked her sandals into her shirt for safe keeping. It was only then that she finally noticed the rest of her surroundings. "Wow this place kind of reminds me of the beach," she said, glancing around. "A little water and we could make sandcastles." Not too far away, stood another vice she had noticed but only in passing. "Hi, I'm Yare Nokatsu, co-vice of squad 1," she said sticking out a hand. "Who are you?"

Looking back, Havok stopped as he looked a bit anxious. "Please, I need everyone to start MOVING THEIR ASSES! We need to get to the palace as soon as we possibly can. I know I have yet to explain the whole entire mission for you, but this whole entire thing pisses me off to no end. I would rather get what we need and get the hell outta dodge. I really hope that isn't too much trouble for you people!" Letting out a decent amount his reiatsu out of frustration, he continued on and rushed faster and faster.

Vyxin nodded and picked Brady back up, then turned towards Fuyu. "You should carry Yare so we can go faster. Them not knowing shunpo, they will just slow us down." She glaned at Brady and Yare, then smiled. "No effence." Looking towards Taishiji, she nodded. "I know you can go faster then these two." Turning around, she started shunpo'ing towards the direction Havok was heading towards. Using all her strength, stamina, and speed, she caught up to him quickly. "So what exactly are we doing here?" She said, glancing towards Havok.

Yare began to protest but Vyxin had already moved ahead. She knew it was her duty to be available to her captain at all times. She shunpoed after the others. Because of her improvised foot protection, it took her a second to work up to the right speed and catch up. "Thank you, Captain Vyxin and Captain Fuyu but I'll be fine," she said, smiling. "And with all due respect, Captain Vyxin, you grabbed your vice before we could properly be introduced." Yare turned and spoke to Havok. "Gomenasai, Captain Havok. I had to attend to something."

Yare smiled at the captain. She was still very wary of her superiors but Vyxin seemed perfectly fine just talking. "Thank you, Captain Vyxin," she said and then turned her attention to Brady. "So what are you? An American, a Brit or an Aussie? You're name sounds American." Something about the other vice fascinated Yare. Maybe it was the fear etched so deeply into his expression. She lowered her voice until only he and Vyxin could hear. "You can calm down. You're surrounded by three captains and two other vices. Plus, you're not useless. The hollows here are pretty low-level. It'll be just like training in the Academy. Plus, for now, you don't even have to do anything." Yare glanced over at Vyxin. "Captain Vyxin, I can take him if you need me to. Like if you need to use both hands. Plus, I've always wanted to compare lives with an english-speaking person." She smiled and laughed. "Brady-kun here's some advice," she said. "I once had a sensei in the Academy who stressed speed more than anything else he ever taught me. He said a shinigami could beat any foe, no matter how great, if that shinigami was fast enough. So my advice is to be fast." (I'm not! XD)

Brady smiled warmly. "I am an American. But I was of the many few who could see we Americans were the bullies of the world." He said happily. "It's hard not to worry Miss Yare. I haven't gotten much practice in. So I don't quite know where I'm at in strength, or speed. But I know about my own stamina." He chuckled.
