...My friend randomly combusted in a Forge match. I was just standing there, bored, waiting for him to get back.
...I jumped like a b***h. x3
Turned out he switched teams.

May not be Halo3 related, but I love this story. I was playing with friends on Gears of War, and we had friendly fire turned on. We were playing a made-up game mode called "Gladiator", where you kill everyone on your team and then procede to the middle to duke it out with the last other member. I thought it'd be funny if we dominated the other team, so I declared a cease-fire within my team.
...So I'm just walking along, whistling a song, when I see my legs fly out from under me in a bloody mess. So as I'm laying there, wondering what the hell happened, I see my friend walk over me with a shotgun that had steam coming out of the barrel.
So as the game goes on, my third friend had avenged me, "downing" (but not killing) the ******** that put me in the morgue. So he's kneeling on the ground dieing, my friend ready to execute him, when he yells "KILLING ME WON'T BRING HIM BACK!"

the first time i played halo 1 i kept trying 2 kill my brother but it ended up me runing around in circles and being dead! sweatdrop redface xd gonk scream lol

Funniest?
Went up the gold lift in Gardian, turned around and chucked a sticky just as the other guy threw out a bubble sheild.
It bounced off and stuck me in the face, so I committed suicide and took a teammate or two with me.
Hilarious.
The second funniest was two friends and I were playing Jenga and I was the zombie. DJ was trying to push Storm off the tower and Storm told him to f-off and ran away just as I hurled a forklift.
All you hear is:
"I'm going to push you off!"
"Oh fauck you--HOLY."
"OMFG THAT WENT RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FECKING FACE. OHSHT."

-I was on the beach on the map Construction.
and a person jumped down in front of me.
-The funnest thing I have done was throw a sticky grenade at this person in front of me. (this person had no grenades and he was out of ammo and ten feet in front of me.)
-my grenade hand with the sticky threw the grenade but I did not see grenade in hand my hand was empty as it went forward then
-on the side of my screen I saw bright blue.
-I then shouted S!!T for all to hear.
-And I still killed the person
