"With the council getting on my case about a mate I know it is only a meatter of time before they start in on Callie....Her awakenment will be soon I know it. You know they give females less choice than us....it is bad enough that she has those....bastards chasing after her now when she tells them she isn't interested. I don't want my sister to be forced into mating and then...unhappy for the rest of eternity." he stated before looking t Garrett. "Where as with you, they are forcing you to remate for the sake of your son but the few woman they have even suggested are probably not but noble pureblooded snobs." He sighed and looked down. "What I am about to suggest is unorthodox...and perhapes even a little crazy but hear me out before saying no....." he looked up at Garrett. "I want you to take Callie as you second mate."

His eyes widened and he fell to the couch, his legs going out from under him. "Have you talked about this with her?!" he breathed out. "I don't think Callie would agree to this....... and besides Trae..... you sure? I mean I could never take her as full mate... you must know that. Gods.."

Azriel would have a mother to help raise him and Callie wouldn't have to worry about being placed with a bas**** husband for a mate for the rest of eternity. Because you do not have to mate in the full sense it can be reversed when Azriel is old enough to no longer need a mother in the councils eyes." Trae said.

Garrett leaned back.. thinking. His mind whirled at this. He looked at Trae... the man was serious... "I'll agree.. one one condition Trae. If she agrees to it as well... and she'll have to meet Azriel.." he stated. "That's as much as I can do.." he replied honestly. "But.. I don't think Callie will take this well......" he stated. "I hope you know what you're doing Traedyn...."

"I know what I'm doing..." he said looking at the man. Hopefully his sister would understand why he was doing it too..."I agree of course with Azirel but can we have her meet him before telling her of this?" He asked. He knew his sister...the child might not affect her decision, but it was important if she did go along with it....besides...he wanted to see how well the two got along before they asked her so if the two didn't seem to work then the idea could be swept under without her ever knowing.

Garrett lifted a brow at that. "Well.. I suppose Az does need to get out from his nanny... his nearly drivin this one bonkers.. little devil.." he muttered. "I've already lost five so far... he's working on this..." he replied. "But sure.. when should I bring him over?" he asked.

Callie smiled as she stood out by the lake a moment before she moved, slipping out of her shirt and skirt to reveal an almost leotard type outfit. She pulled back her hair before jumping in.
