 Justice sighed, tears welling up in her eyes, she was going over her last court records, court that was let out for the last time just twenty minutes ago and another case lost but what was wrong with her? Or should that be, what was wrong with her clients? No, it wasnt their fault, and their appeal will get them out of jail but still, they shouldnt even BE in there, she hadnt won a single case in four months. Thats twelve people who are innocent that are in jail now for crimes they did not commit and she cant do anything about it! She cant go to her father, he was a prosacution lawyer and besides that HE is the one who actually PUT five out of the twelve clients of hers behind bars, the appeals, she can work on those, get them out and then, of course, grovel for their forgiveness, thats all she could do. Justice sighed as a lone tear fell down her cheek, maybe being a lawyer wasnt her thing after all... ((I am assuming we start this from scratch? Justice and Pheonix are friends and nothing more? ))

(( Scratch sounds good. ))  Phoenix Wright had a brief case filled with some court cases at hand and was looking pretty warn out. He had been up most of the night reviewing a couple of them that he'd have to go to court for pretty soon. Recently, he had been a bit more busy than usual. It was amazing how many ponies around here could get themselves into so much trouble, but of course he believe in all of them, so it wasn't THEIR fault or anything. He sighed and shook his head. He should probably go out and investigate soon for the one... He didn't have nearly enough evidence to back it up yet.

Justice heard someone comming, she looked around an noticed it was Wright himself, great, just what she needed, the greatest defence lawyer in the world and the one who she has idolized since she was a foal and here she was losing case after case after case, what was she to do? She sighed, dried her eyes and cleared her throat, deciding to take look at the files again, if only to pretend nothing was wrong, the least Pheonix knew the better Wright? ((*shot* XD)) right?

Phoenix had spotted Justice. He had... heard about what was happening to her lately. It was hard not to know as a defense attorney and she was the daughter of one of his friends( Ha! Yes. Friend. D<;; ). She wasn't too happy at the moment was she? She looked alright, but something was amiss. "Hello, Ms. Edgeworth..." He thought it might be better to use formallities. He wasn't sure if he knew her well enough to call her by her first name. People felt differently about that. He put on a smile. "How are you...?" As soon as he asked he sort of regretted it since he already had an idea...

((Yes, they do, after all, the games are filled with these jokes. XD
And lets not tell Edgeworth about him being wrights friend, we all know he will either say nothing to deny it (thus we can take it as he accepts such a thing) or will deny it completely, he be one fussy guy when it comes to this topic. XD
Truth be told, only reason Absinthe became friends wit him in the first place as because she forced himself to be his friend wether he liked it or not, he gave up trying to push her away after the five hundredth time, he just couldn be bothered anymore and finally accepted her. XD; ))
Justice looked up and smiled half heartedly, trying her hardest to put on a brave face "oh, hi, please, call me Justice" she said as she looked back at her files and closed them "im fine, just looking over some cases, nothing to worry about" she said putting them under a book she was reading, making it seem the cases wernt anything important. "Please, if you wish, join me for a bit? I wouldnt mind the company though, that is, if you dont mind and arnt busy of course" she said to him as she moved over a bit, regardless there was more then enough room beside her, it was a habbit she had been taught by her mother and father when she was young, it was polite to do so or whatever.

Phoenix looked down at his briefcase and frowned. That case... He really should work on it more. Maya would probably bug him about it and Pearl even more so for dropping work for a girl that was Maya, but... He could use a break. A small one couldn't hurt, right? "Sure. I can't for too long however. I'm kind of behind as it is. I was thinking about a break though..." He laughed nervously and smiled weakly. Maybe he could cheer his FRIENDS( Ha! AGAIN! D< ) daughter a bit if he spent some time with her. Company was good, right? And besides... He... Was still tired. He couldn't focus on courts half asleep right?

((Yes, it was, though he just passes it off as 'she was my PA for a few weeks when work was getting too much', so he just wants us to think that HE got her into his life and became friends soon after that which, obviously is a load of BS but, we dont correct, just let him think what he wants. XD
You know though, calling him friends may slap you with an objection soon enough if your not careful. XD))
"So, now that you are having a break, hows your work going?" She asked, deciding that it will be better to ask about his work then talk about her own, right? She didnt want to bring up what was starting to be the bane of her exsistance.

Phoenix sighed and put on a weak smile. "It's been a bit taxing. I got a lot of paper work to go through." He glanced down at his case for a second. He didn't really want to think about his work much either. "It's amazing how so many ponies can get into trouble all at once these days..."

"I swear paperwork is as bad as the ponys themselves" she giggled and nodded "and yes, alot of ponys can get in trouble but, we are just the ones to get them out of it" she said as she mumbled under her breath quietly "or send the innocent ones to jail" she said as she cleared her throat "I know several ponys who deserve to be in jail as much as the next evil pony." She said with a sigh "but, due to their magical backgrounds their immune from 'commoners jail' since they should be triled in a court of magic, wish that wasnt the case" she said with a sigh, Raven and Lilith need to be in jail at least, not to mention all by two of the rest of that family.

Phoenix nodded. He hadn't quite caught what she had mumbled, but suspected it was something she didn't really want him to hear. "Yeah. The legal system does seem to have its flaws, but so does everything in this world. We just need to do our best I guess. We can't get a perfect case all the time..." He smiled a little."Anyway... Where would you like to go?"

"Or none of the time" she mumbled once again to his 'can't have a perfect case' comment "umm" she said looking at him "dont you have work? I mean, its nice to keep me company and all, I appreciate it, but still, shouldnt you get back to work?" She asked before looking out towards the lake near by. "And yes, it is true, everything in this world does have flaws, my father just doesnt belive so..." she said with a sigh, knowing all to well how smug her father looked after throwing her five clients into jail.

Phoenix frowned a bit. She had just asked if he could join her and now she was urging him to get back to work? There was a big contradiction here, and as a lawyer, he felt he should point that out. "But you just invited me to come with you for a bit, and I said I could spare a short break... " Phoenix knew his facts. "So I just assumed maybe we'd get coffee or something.... Everyone takes a coffee break now or something and again."

"Yes, I did and, like I said, I appreciate the company but you DID say you had to get back to work" she said looking at him "I just dont want to take you away from said work thats all" she said as she played around with a bit of paper sticking out of the book she was reading "though, I wont deny coffee doesnt sound good right now, and you are right, one is intitled to a coffee break. I guess it would also be interesting to see how the great Phoenix Wright has his" she teased him a little, showing off her 'fangirl' side again, this time for fun, it was no secret she had been a huge fan of his since she was a foal, her father had gotten sick and tired of her asking pretty much everything and anything about him.

Phoenix saw her point, but he also could see she had been trying to avoid something most likely. There exchange of words had barely been that much of a break. Perhaps he had touched on a subject he shouldn't of had? He kept these thoughts to himself. He blinked a few times and laughed a bit. "M-mine? Well, uhm, it's not that special..." He said modestly. It was hard for him to believe that anyone could EVER fangirl over him. He wasn't going to complain though... It was a nice change.

More of the musical, it isnt a practice session this time, its more of the offical production and I admit, I couldnt help but crack up when I heard Wright just pop up and sing at the title, I mean, I am tinking of the game and I KNOW I would be cracking up if, randomly, Wright/the others just popped up and sung in the game at different times. XD
Wont deny though, I want the DVD! Granted...preferably with english subs but still, even just in Japanese I want it. XD
AND its an ALL female troupe, admitedly, when I first saw it I thought it was mixed but thats only because in Japan, obviously, effiminite guys are like ALL the rage so I never questioned it.))
Justice smiled at Phoenix "your talking to a fangirl here, humor her, you know us fangirls HAVE to know EVERYTHING" she giggled as she placed her stuff into her bag, sipping the bag over her shoulder before leaning over and kissing his cheek a little seductivly and whispered in his ear "after this, I could use my fangirl ways and drag you off to have my way with you" she said giggling once more, joking obviously, before getting up and gestured towards the castle "castle alright for coffee?"
