...executive orders.
An executive order is a way for the President to make something official without the vote of the Legislature or the people.
As a Democratic-Republican country, aren't the people supposed to be part of the laws and official things? Isn't this somewhat violating our checks and balances?
Opinions?

If it's an order it's that doesn't go through the system of Checks & Balances that's when it becomes more like a Dictatorship. Well that's what I think...

Presidents use them.
But they can be thrown out.
If seen as unconstitutional.
There is like a total of 3 different ways that it can be removed.
But I don't remember them all right now.
I might edit this later with them.

as a part of being a responsible voter, one should always think about how you would feel with each candidate making those orders and you should vote for the one you are most comfortable with. the president is an office for making those decisions, thats what he is there for. as far as congress making laws and passing bills, thats what we elect them for, to be our voice in the government.

I believe executive orders are needed to respond quickly to a war because it takes a long time for anything to pass through congress. Plus, congress a while back put a ban on executive orders to a limit of 60 days.
