Lily tapped the corner of the paper, staring at the name she had scrawled down, "Sjajan Reever.." Her words tested it lightly, slipping off her tongue in a strange flow. While most people would be more likely to wonder what the heck kind of name is that, Lily thought it was rather fun to say.
Repeating it over in her mind like an enchant, she tried different pronounciations, finally settling on the one that sounded most tribal. A glance towards the clock set her to her feet, and in one fell swoop she grabbed her jacket, stuffed the suddenly folded paper in her pocket, and went on her way.
She decided against bringing a beloved chocolate morsel as a present, particularly as it had been ill received the last time she tried that. Instead, she brought only herself, wondering if they would just have tea (or in her case, hot chocolate.)
The short walk brought her abruptly to the familiar cafe, the aroma of coffee and treats wafting about the air in front of the door in an inviting manner. A bit early, but Lily perched herself neatly on a chair by the window, trying to picture what sort of face would go with 'Sjanjan'.

Jan was running a bit behind, mainly because she tended to show up early to things, however, this simply made her on time. Unfortunately, things hadn't gone quite as planned. She'd gotten an emergency call as she was leaving her pad from one her friends, and had grabbed the stuff she'd needed before heading to what was supposed to be her date.
The blonde's long legs carried her quickly into the cafe wearing somewhat loose, faded jeans held in place by a leather belt with a buckle in the shape of a leaf, leather flip flops, an army green, fitted tee with the words "DIG DEEP" and a graphic of a garden, and various necklaces and bracelets. Slim, dark shades rested on the top of her head, a knapsack hung on her shoulder, and she glanced around coolly before spotting the woman she was looking for.
That Lily?
They'd met before, albeit it briefly. She'd been doing a promotion for a record store, and Lily had given her some donuts, along with a request for a nonexistant CD. Interesting.
An easy grin slid onto Jan's face and she approached the table, but didn't sit down. Instead she bent over the table slightly, resting her palms on it, and greeted the other blonde. "Lily, righ'?" A pause. "We're suppos'd ta 'ave a date, but I need t'drop some cords off at a frien's show. Whaddya say we ditch this cafe, 'n go lis'en t'some music, instead?"

Lily found herself briefly choking on air at the sudden bombardment of.. Jan? She coughed twice to clear her throat, then gave the other girl another good stare down. Well, it was hard to miss someone with such distinct features. Pulling out the paper, she checked that the name was correct, "Sjanjan?"
Pausing in her panic, Lily thought that getting out would be rather nice. She gave a small smirk, reminded how much confidence Jan shone with. With a shrug, Lily shook her head at the coincidence of meeting, "Why not, sounds fun."
If anything, she was quick to adapt. With coat at hand, Lily was ready to go, and quite curious about this next place. The duo prepared to leave, with Lily following at her side, her mind playing 20 questions, "How far away is this friend's show?"
