Trying to play advanced piano piece with a flute

I tried to play the top part of the advanced piano pieces with my flute, and the the top part barely doesn't give me time to breath... if me or you just play that piece with just a regular piano, it will be easy, because you don't have to breath... all you need is a fast and precise fingers in piano

Ah, yeah, I tried to learn this really pretty, but semi complicated piano piece (Japanese) on the flute for a language fair thing (my friend was going to sing the vocal part along with it) but there was litterally no breaks in what I was playing and it was mostly in the upper octaves, I had to take it down an octave and spend hours finding my limits and factoring in the fact that I would be nervous performing in front of judges and finally I figured out the best places to breath and have it sound good...basically, it's a bunch of trial and error stuff

remember that these pieces are written for piano and they don't need to breathe. If you need to take a breath, then cut out a note or two to give yourself a place to breathe but keep going. Don't stop to take a breath and continue on because then it sounds bad. Just keep following the tempo and start back up where you would if you were still playing the piece.... if its fast. If its a slow peice, then just add phraseing and maybe throw in breath marks to add emphasis.... or just work on circular breathing with a straw and a cup of water.

Piano's don't have to breathe (i mean not even their fingers, it's insanity) Like flight of the bumblebee, you have to take breaths when you're playing. INSANITY.

The breathing thing was a problem when we played adagio for stings in woodwind choir... whoever arranged it forgot about breath marks gonk

So our band directer added some in so we wouldn't die
