The Heretics
Founder: Bengalyn the Heretic
Name: Named as a small joke by Bengalyn after the title she was given by the Drake and Spirit Clans
Philosophy: Dragons are not tools to gain power over others. Instead they are friends and companions who live alongside the human race and live on an equal level as them.
Purpose: To stop the Spirit and Drake Clans from gaining power and taking the human and dragon races under their hold.
History: As a new initiate into the Drake Clan, Bengalyn admired the Drake Clan and helped whole-heartedly with all the Drake Clan's plots and schemes. She even won several races and helped bring in money to fund the under workings of the clan. However, one day Bengalyn and her dragon were selected for a special assignment that instructed her to assassinate a certain politician. It was at this moment that Bengalyn saw the Drake Clan for who they really were and decided to run. At first, Bengalyn sought out the Spirit Clan, with intentions to join them and help them with their cause. However, after tracking a pair of Spirit Clan members, she saw some equally appalling behavior that made her distrust the Spirit Clan as well. Angered and convinced that neither clan should be allowed to remain in operation, Bengalyn started her own war, appearing out of the night, attacking swiftly and stopping whatever bad dealing were being done, and them melting into the shadows once more. Unfortunately, one night Bengalyn was caught off guard and was ambushed by several Clan members. Although she was able to escape, she lost her precious dragon in the process. Filled with grief and uncertainty, Bengalyn hid away and left the city, wandering the country secretly using another name. Five years later, under a different name, with a rare egg in her arms.
