 Thalia paced in front of the house wearily. Where is he? Doesn't he know I need him desprately right now!? She thought quickly, whining to herself involuntarily. This is important, darn it! She stopped pacing momentarily, and sat, panting. Come on, come one, come on! She glared at the door fiercely, as if trying to will the dog flap open. "Augh! Come on, Cae!" She muttered impatiently, giving a small yip.
Despite the fact only around five minutes had passed, she had managed to wear a path into the sidewalk. A week or two had passed since their first meeting--where they had discovered that they were in fact siblings. Since then, Thalia would occasionally stop by to say hello, or chat about stray life. However--this was not one of those times. Her belly swolen, and panting heavily, she hasn't stopping by for only a chat.

Caesios, snoozing lightly on the garage floor, was dreaming about happy things. Sunny days, chasing a tennis ball in a nice, grassy field. His feet flopped wildly, and a pathetic whimper escaped his throat as his dream-self yapped happily. His own noise woke him up, and he lifted his head, squinting sleepily. He got up and stretched; first stepping forward and dragging his back legs, and then crouching down, stretching his front paws out in front of him while leaving his back end in the air. He yawned and shook out his sleepiness, though, nothing would be able to wake him up more than what he was just about to see.
Pushing his head through the doggy door, Cae's eyes nearly popped out of his skull at the site of his sister. Wow. The surprises just keep coming, don't they?
"Oh, hello, Thalia." Cae said casually, trying desperately not to stare at her stomach.

"Cae!" She panted, skipping awkwardly over to. "Oh, thank goodness you answered! I tohught you'd never come out!" She gave a nervous glance from Cae to her stomach. "So... Er..." She muttered, tone dropping dramatcally, from frantically excited to embarressed and guilty. The whole thing was an accident, you see... "Erm..." She mumbled, looking up at him, guilt flittering about her eyes. "What should I do, Cae? I can't raise my pups on the streets..." She whined, shifting from paw to paw.

The silver collie winced, slightly embarrassed. "Sorry, I was sleeping.. I didn't even hear you, sis. You--" He almost told her that she should have just come in. But could she even fit comfortably through the doggy door?
Kári could when she was full of pups, but she was... a lot smaller.
He listened with empathy in his eyes, and nodded in agreement with Thalia's last statement. Cae's own pups were... unintended as well, but that didn't stop him from doing the best he could to raise them. "Who is the father? Does he not know?" A spark of frustration fluttered across his features; Lord help a male that abandoned his sister, or any female for that matter, and her unborn puppies in thier time of need.

"I--I..." She stammered, trying to recollect her memory. "His name.. Is Koun... A-And I do think he knows. He's been, well," He stoped for a moment, a flicker of unease flashing across her face in realization. "...Not showing up lately, but I'm..." She voice grew quiter before she stopped completely, hanging her head.
"...He's probably not going to show up again, is he...?" She mumbled, half to herself.
