The Story
The world of Final Fantasy has many lands. All have faced their own time of turmoil, and all have been returned to peace again by some great hero, but, there is one land that has forever been peaceful, never been touched by any evil or danger.
Until now. Our story starts in the city of Haven's Roost, where two friends break that cycle of peace by awakening a menace that lies dormant in the abandoned ruins near the city.
The creatures of the ruins soon attack the city, destroying everything in there path. Lives are lost, homes are destroyed. The city is in utter chaos. With the help the shop keeper, Cid, the two friends are armed and attempt to save what is left of this rapidly crumbling town. But what if that isn't enough? What if nothing the friends try can stop the monsters now that they are awakened? Will they be able to find a way to defeat the monsters before it's too late? Or will the city fall to the monsters? Only time will tell.
