I just felt like sharing a funny moment I had back in high school dealing with plagiarism.
So this was my senior year of high school, and its some English class taught by an retired college professor.
There was one big essay we worked on for that entire school year which is equivalent to what a term paper would be in college. We had to go through step by step researching and citing books and online information correctly. Also learn how to properly cite the content we use in our paper.
He mentioned that the papers would be checked for any plagiarism with a service the school has purchased online. This is done by digitally submitting our papers to that service to check for any plagiarism and if sources are citied properly.
We had to submit our papers revisions a few times to make sure things were done properly.
So, first submission was alright, it highlights in green what is okay, yellow what is not citied properly, and red if it is just straight foreword plagiarism. Most people just had problems citing properly. We had to go back and fix those errors of course and upload it again. The professor gets to view these papers online to check for plagiarism. Next few days we all continued writing our papers and uploading as we progress.
One day the professor calls me over to his computer with a stern look on his face as if I had did something bad. I was nervous wondering what could it possibly be. He points at the computer monitor and says "you're not citing properly and your entire paper is plagiarize". Baffled and shocked as how could that be, I took a look. Indeed everything was appearing in red, but how could that be.
As I read further for information of who I could have possibly plagiarized, it says on the footnote "plagiarism of ..." and long behold, I see my name and the name of my old document below.
I have plagiarized myself!

I don't remember. Maybe a small laugh at how silly it was.

A lullaby for you. Don't you worry baby, I'll be here by your side May tomorrow be wonderful too. Close to you I hope to stay, Endlessly from today, Even through cloudy days, You are not alone. xD
Nice.
A lullaby for you. Stars will always gracefully watch over 'til it's bright. May tomorrow be wonderful, too. Take my hand and promise me that we'll be alright. Finding a place to feel at home, You are not alone.
