Elders

There are only ever two elders, and they must be bonded. Elders are selected based on their skill, intelligence, trustworthiness, and leadership. Only heirs are eligible unless no heirs are deemed fit. Under these circumstances, a truly exceptional bonded pair of fosters may be selected or two to three unbonded dragons may temporarily be given the responsibility of leading the pack.

Fosters are dragons that were once boarders, but have proven to be trustworthy and loyal. They are all adults or teens that have passed the rights of adulthood.

Boarders

Boarders are newcomers to the pack, tolerated but not trusted. They are watched closely, occasionally spied on without their being aware of it, and can be expelled for the slightest sign of ill will or threatening behavior.
